Easily the best smoke/CO detector I have ever seen. Setup is fairly easy and they look fantastic on the wall/ceiling. But the beauty in these things is that they work incredibly well. Best example I can give: wife was cooking a steak and there was some smoke. I got an alert on my phone that there was some smoke. I opened a window. Soon after I got an alert on my phone letting me know the smoke was dissipating. Pretty cool.

We recently purchased 2 nest protects for our home and could not be happier! No more chirping, no more seeing a red or green blinking light wondering if that's a good thing or not! This gives you clear indicators or what it is doing thinking and what's going on. The other added perk is the pathway light! They light up when you pass them at night. No more turning on the hall light!

Ever think you would spend time checking in on a smoke detector? In the past I would only check if a battery were out every few years. This thing is super cool and will inform you of a fire remotely to your phone as it is connected to wi-fi. Also, it checks itself to see if its operating correctly. Oh, and if there were smoke, the Nests are all connected so it will tell you over all of the speakers which room of the house the smoke or carbon monoxide detection is in. Amazing.

Easy to install works as advertised. Hardwired packaging had everything needed to install.

It works, and it works well. I love being able to see the history of it checking itself.

Took me less than an hour to install 2 of these. Look great, perform as described.

At first I didn't want to purchase these due to the high cost but having a piece of mind that I would have active smoke detectors that would message me with issues on my phone is very important. I also really like the feature that it lights up where you are walking in the dark without you doing anything. I purchase 3 of them and they definitely all communicate lighting the way from my Kitchen to the hallway then the bedroom. Great product!!!

Easy insulation. App set up was easy. Would recommend for that added protection for when your away from home.

Installation easy and looks good, easy to hook up phone

This is my second Nest Smoke/Carbon Monoxide alarm ,this one is in my kitchen.These are really great.

The battery model is so simple to set up. Takes a few minutes. Works with Nest cameras and Lifx bulbs.

Easy to set up and navigate the app. Seems like adding more devices to the nest app would be simple. Not a big fan of the 2 year active period, but l can understand how this would get into safety compliance.

Gives me peace of mind that I can monitor the house in Chandler with my Nest App while I'm in Iowa.

This product is very useful, it maybe a bit too sensitive bit looks very nice and also very useful for night light

Pairs with other devices...very easy to install. Like how the device interacts with other devices like ADT.
