Works as advertised. I especially like the night light that turns on as you walk by in the dark.

The Nest Protect is a great product that allows you to keep an eye on your home and protect what is important to you. Only issue I had was the install of the second Protect I bought. Instead of taking just a few minutes it took a few hours and several calls to Nest to finally get the second Protect installed. Even with that frustration I will be buying more for my home now that I know how to get around the install issue I had.

I love the piece of mind the nest protect gives. Instant alerts on phone to alert you to any issues. So even if your not home you can get the help you need quick. With minimal loss.

Easy to set up, very easy to install, it only takes 5 minutes to get it to function.

This is my second nest smoke detector and I like it serves as a light in dark area.

If you hate fire and carbon monoxide - or fear both of them - this is the detector for you. Does exactly what it states, and looks good while doing it. Highly recommend multiple of these for your home.

This unit is a pretty fair value as it is a smoke and carbon monoxide detector in one. I like the wifi on it so it will also alert you if you are away from home. A little more than other combo units but not bad if you also want wifi.

My son received this for XMAS including the NEST. Great product and easy to install and operate.

This is my 3rd one - I'm gradually replacing all the old smoke detectors in my home with these Nest ones. They are great because they can notify you on your phone if there are any issues and you can turn them off/reset them from your phone if your girlfriend, who is terrible at cooking, burns something.

I replaced all of my old smoke detectors with these WIFI and Bluetooth connected smoke and carbon dioxide detectors. If one senses a problem the others will also tell you there is a problem. Silencing can be done from your phone so you don't have to find a broomstick to press the silence button. Very smart devices!

Great smoke/carbon dioxide detector. Like how it connects to the bridge for control through an app. Nightlight feature is neat, however took me over a month to figure out it’s settings can be changed (i.e. brightness/on/off) as its preset is rather bright
