Works great with the thermostat and the app. The dimmer light is an awesome feature.

Easy to install and gives piece of mind when leave the dogs at home during the day.

This is our 3rd Nest Protect, the first two were wired in our main house but we converted our garage into a guest house with full kitchen and bathroom so having protection out there was important but not having planned in our renovation for this wiring was a huge oversight on our part, luckily Nest offers a battery version...now if they'll only do the same with the doorbell!

Love the easy setup of the product. Expensive, but the wireless feature is awesome.

Knowing I can get alerts on my phone when I'm away from home is very reassuring that I can call for first responders remotely. I even put one in my garage which didn't come with one. Not sure why garages don't come with one standard, least not where I live. Highly recommend.

easy to set up. Like that my phone would get info even when I'm away from home. The good/bad news is that nothing has happened to test it for real; But if the $15 alarms work OK out of the box, then this one should also.

Really cool detector. Can monitor from your smart phone. Lights the way at night.

This product works great via the network and nests app.

I had a little trouble at first with these. My range extender gave out and suddenly no more disconnected problems. So if you have a mesh system you are fine but a range extender looses connectivity. Other than that works very well.

Overall the smoke detector was pretty good. the voice notifications are awesome and the app worked really good specially during set up. I did however give it four stars because at one point boiling eggs would set it off.

A few confusing parts when installing, but great video helped out. Works great!

No more beeps or chirps, you know exactly what is wrong, where it's wrong, and when! In fact, You also get an alert on your phone if anything happens for peace of mind with the Nest app. I also like the added value of having a pathlight that lights up your way in the dark, because your smoke alarm should do more than just alert you of bad news...
