Great feature that helps us for when we are not home. Would highly recommend to anyone. Never can be too safe.

I have three of the Nest Smoke and CO Detectors and I'm definitely buying more in the future. It brings a new modern way to protect your home and they are so much better than the old crappy smoke detectors. They have many great features and the app works really well.

Bought two of these NEST for my elderly mother, who is in the process of selling her primary home. We can monitor her home while she is away for peace of mind. We also purchased two CANARY video products to monitor her home along with the NEST, again for her POM and for her home security.

We have two of these and they work well with our nest thermostats and lifx bulbs. The battery notification is worth the price. Even when you regularly schedule battery change outs on old school detectors I still found myself searching the house at 3am for the chirping. No more!

I went simply looking to upgrade to a "smart" smoke detector and ended up beginning my connected home experience. Great product with tons of potential.

Bought this for basement and 2nd floor. Love how they communicate with each other. If the basement nest sounds it will also make the second floor nest sound alerting me if any possible hazard.

I've had this product for a few months now and I want to finish buying more for my house. It does everything it says and I've tested it with a smoke can and it shut off my furnace and notifies me. I linked it to my Lifx lights and all my lights in the house flash red. Great product

It is pricey, but works great and looks beautiful on ceiling.

Had it for 1 month, so far so good. It is always actively scanning to make sure everything is good

After purchasing my NEST Thermostat, I had to purchase a NEST Smart Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarm. I chose the battery-powered version, but it also comes in a AC Powered version. If I'm away, and a problem occurs, I'll be notified on my smartphone. I recommend this to anyone.

I bought the smoke alarm for my parents house located 700 miles from me. I have made their house into a "smart" house for my benefit because I live so far away and worry about them. The products was easy to install and easy to coordinate with the other Nest products.

I bought 2 battery and 2 wired versions to replace older ones in my home and love the features so far. It's nice to hear a voice response instead of just a horn sound. Also I love every how it integrates with the whole home automation program. Worth the money so far.

This is definitely better than the old ones that beep. my wife burns a lot of food (basically if she steps into the kitchen the alarm goes off). so its much better to have a kind voice saying "there is smoke" before it goes insane. gives us the chance to avoid the havoc!

I have not tested out the actual alarm to see if I received an alert via wifi but the setup is easy, and in the house you hear it loud and clear

I was interested in this product for its basic features, of course, but also for the feature of notifying our cell phones, in case smoke or carbon monoxide were detected in our home. This peace of mind insurance made it worth the extra cost. The light sensor is an added bonus.

Love these things. No more low battery beeps in the middle of the night, where i can't even tell which one is beeping. Super easy to install and setup.

This is so much better than the traditional smoke/carbon monoxide alarms. It sends an alert to my phone if there's smoke, so even if I'm not home I can protect my house. It takes a moment to set it up, but it's well worth it.

I haven't had a reason for the alarm to go off on this yet, but I love the peace of mind that comes with it. Also, it was very easy to set up.

I mean don't you want a smoke/carbon detector that alerts you even when you're not at home ? The only annoying thing is it wants to randomly test the speakers and announcements. Great other then that !

I purchased this Nest smoke/carbon monoxide alarm to replace the existing battery operated unsmart smoke/carbon monoxide alarm. I really like the ability to monitor the alarm remotely and get notifications, such as; activity history, testing, etc.
