Works great but for some reason I just set up another home within my Nest account to set up my smoke alarm

Google has proven to me that a smart smoke carbon monoxide detector is actually a great thing to have in the house

Easy setup to existing nest/google account and products. Seems well built and I like the peace of mind having notifications of events on my phone.

Yes, these are on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for with both the smoke and CO detection. I have a couple in my home and just bought 2 more for my son's house. Highly recommend.

The smoke detector works great if you have multiple smoke detectors in the home - I would make sure that you look to see if you are going to go with wired or battery since wiring takes a bit more time.

Works great. Replaced my 20 year old one with this. Self testing is cool and it notifies you if something off verbally and on your phone, it even can detect if people are nearby it.

The Nest products seem really robust and easy to setup. The status checks on our iPhones are quick and easy and alerts coming to our phones seem good during testing. Hopefully will never need it but having the sensor is extra piece of mind!

We are so grateful for all of our nest products but this one has to be our favorite. Provides the most peace of mind. We have them in all areas of our house and I can;t imagine not having them

Does it's job. Love the notifications so I know if there is a problem at home. Also nice peace of mind to check the status of the detector on the smartphone.

luckily, i haven't had to find out if this thing actually works.....setup was easy, app is simple enough.

Great product with easy integration into the Google line up. I like being able to see the status of the smoke alarms remotely. But more than that I like not paying a security company like ADT or CPI a monthly fee for monitoring.

Replaced all my old school smoke detectors work these. I love the fact that all detectors annunciate the same message instead of blasting alarm at the first sign of burnt toast. Works great. Performs self checks too.

We added nest protect in addition to our smoke and CO detectors for additional safety. They are stylish and hard to notice once installed. However, if needed, they provide the house extra safety and provide better location of fire or CO.

Love these carbon and smoke detectors works good with the nest app in the the nest thermostat. Only thing I wish is that a bigger alert system when some thing is happening smoke

Great smoke detector and carbon monoxide alarm! You name them after the room or area they are in. It will announce the name of them if there is an issue. You can also silence the alarm. Highly recommended.

We had a potential carbon monoxide leak so we ran out and bought 2 nest protects. We no longer have to worry about fire or carbon monoxide because we will get an alert on our phones if there is an issue. That peace of mind is priceless.

Seems great, reliable, but haven't had it long enough. Battery supposedly 10 years, but guarantee only 2 years.

It's a excellent product, but I gave 4 stars because: 1. It needs a new installation. New bracket and new holes in your ceiling. I don't know why it doesn't keep the same bracket to avoid making new holes in the ceiling. 2. It is very difficult to erase the old nest . The new was added and the old one took me a while to erase it. However, it is the best product to be used.

We bought three of the Nest Smoke & Carbon Monoxide alarms. We love them! A nice surprise was the small light that comes on and off when you walk by the alarm. I think it is called a path light. We are now going to buy a fourth alarm.
