I've had several detectors in my home before but never had the peace of mind that I have with these. They self test and alert you if there is a problem.

Have 4 powered Nest protects but have 1 that I wanted to put in an area where there isn't electrical to feed it. This went right in. Works great with the other 4 and connects to the wifi perfectly.

Provides peace of mind protection for my family. I wouod highly recommend the Nest smoke and carbin monoxide detector.

Not only does it pick up several types of fires, as well as carbon monoxide, but it also does the best job at alerting you of the danger.

I would recommend this smoke detector to anyone who wants to provide great protection for their family and property. I have used both wired and wireless, and both provided excellent protection.

The high tech smoke detector provides peace of mind. The understandable prompts ("smoke in ___") instead of just beeping is great.

Perfect device! Every home should have one. Getting notified when you are not at home is a feature that's worth every penny.

I like how the smoke detects communicate. If you have smoke in the basement it will tell you through every alarm in the house and where the smoke is located.

I’m a big believer in Nest....just replaced 11 of them in my main residence because the sensors expire after 7 years (?), but, ok!

Love this detector, the auto light feature and phone conne tion make me feel great about this purchase.

I like that it gives me a warning initially when smoke is detected when I'm cookinh something, thus giving me time to turn off on my phone cause it loud. Also it's important to have a c02.

Replaced 2 old wired/battery operated smoke detectors with 2 Nest Protects - great product ! Able to control within the app - monthly checks for CO2 and overall function. Worth the price.

I've got the Nest thermometer, and it's doing very well for making my house a comfortable home. Now my Nest Protect, also reassures me where ever I may be that my home is safe and secure!

Integrates well into my Nest ecosystem. Does what it needs to and links to other Nest Protects in the house to give full coverage.

It is great at alerting you to smoke and carbon monoxide. I like the fact it sends alerts to my phone when I'm not at home.

I bought the 3 pack of cameras, the thermostat, and the smoke alarms and I'm very pleased with this product. I like being able to check my phone to see if everything at home is alright.

I have had other Nest Products. I bought this for my parents as Christmas Gift.
