The all battery version is super straightforward. It looks good and testing is done easily. Connects effortlessly. Caveat: also have wired version - not a fan (reasons). Good battery type.

Integrates well into my Nest ecosystem. Does what it needs to and links to other Nest Protects in the house to give full coverage.

It is great at alerting you to smoke and carbon monoxide. I like the fact it sends alerts to my phone when I'm not at home.

I placed it on my hallway and dobles for a motion light at night. Easy to use and I can manage it with my fun when I burn my toast!

Very reliable. Very loud and provides peace of mind when not home. Just wish the app would provide a notification of when the unit will perform a system test

This is my second Nest Protect. I now have one on each level and they are great. I'm sure they'll be the last I ever need. Smoke, CO2, self-test monthly. Excellent product.

Love it! This is my second one and my first nest protect actually saved us during a carbon monoxide exposure.

Amazing device, I just wish it didn’t expire after ten years. But any detector does, so that’s why I went ahead and purchased it anyway.

It does exactly what you would expect with the added benefit of being able to silence it. Also has the ability to send you notifications to you.

Needed a combo smoke and CO2 detector for living room. Nest system even integrates with my ADT security system. Sends updates on tests and status right to my email. Very cool system

Does self checks, talking alerts and updates even notifies on your phone if your away from home. Great safety product to have

This is my second pair. Not happy how u have to replace every 7 years, but they pay for themselves in savings

Have bough one for my parents before and it works awesome. Just move into a new house and landlord did not install smoke detectors so i bough Nest and like it. Knowing i'm safe now.

A must have within the first week I received an alert on my phone. Sure enough my son was frying pork chops and it picked it up. It’s aweosme and it works!!!

I got two one for the main floor and the other one to the upstairs hall way. very easy to use and it will send the alerts to my phone

I'm constantly surprised of all the things this detector can do. I was delightfully greeted by a soft light that guided me through the dark thanks to the motion sensor.
