This is my 3rd purchase of the protect. Nest makes top notch items.. I highly recommend this for anyone who worries about their house when they are not usually home

Love the product line. Great quality, audio and app. Makes you feel very secure and devices will talk to each Luther if you have additional ones in the home.

Bottom line, this safety product does exactly what it is intended to do. It was a good purchase. I have three of these smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in my home.

Nest protect very important to have one or two maybe 3 at home

Great way to protect your home and to know it is protected while you are not at home. Alerts and notification are great and informative. The only downside is the protects need to be replaced every 7 years and Google is bad with keeping customers with discounts.

With this smoke detector, I'm able to check on the safety of my home from anywhere, and from the same convenient app as my Nest cameras!

Too often we pulled the battery out of our old alarm. The smoke f on regular cooking would too often set it off. Now we get a warning and can easily silence it from either our phones or from the unit itself. Glad that it also detects carbon monoxide and that we’d get notified if something were amiss while we were away

Not only is this a great smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm, but it also has a built in light guide you in the dark. Wifi enabled.

We are a Google household and this was just the next step for us. The only bummer is it doesn't connect to our Google home but it does connect to the nest app that we have for our thermostat. Super easy to install and it has some convenient features like the night light when when it senses your nearby in the dark it lights up.

High quality item to provide protection of the family. Can’t skimp on life safety devices.

We had very old and non functional smoke detectors in our house. Love how these slip fight into the nest app. Love em. They work well.

Excellent product! Have them set up all through the house. It is great to know that the entire house is protected and you will be notified wherever you are.

Received a notification on phone for smoke. Luckily I was close to the house and we were able to squash the fire immediately.

Similar cost to a non-wifi smoke detector / carbon monoxide detector combo. Spend the extra and get phone notifications and home location notifications.

We have three wired Nests at home. The battery unit is for my son’s house at college. A very inexpensive but powerful piece of mind insurance.

I just wish I can check on it with echo. Good device
