    I figured the path light would only apply to the 120v wired version. The path light also works with this battery version. Awesome!

    We bought this to replace a Nest smoke detector that had expired. One annoyance is that it is a completely different mount that you need to screw into the ceiling. Other than having to drill two new holes, it works great.

    These battery powered smoke detectors are very easy to set up within the Nest app to add to the collection of devices. I like how the alarms give a warning if they detect smoke before actually giving an alarming sound. Very easy to install with all of the provided pieces. I would easily recommend these to anyone.

    I have a few of these set up around the house, i like that they do both smoke and carbon monoxide but the main reason is they connect online. If something is wrong i get the notification on my phone even when I'm outside of the house.
