    We bought this because our house did not have any fire alarms of CO2 indicators. This is a two in one and it runs tests one a month to make sure everything is working correctly. Great feature is that this lights your way in the dark where we situated it in the hallway!

    Works well with the Nest smart thermostat. If it picks up carbon monoxide, it could reportedly communicate with your nest thermostat and automatically turn off your heating system. Not a bad feature. So far so good.

    I love the way this device alerts you before it activates the full alarm. The app feature is great for when oven mishaps or fireplace flare ups happen. The only negative I can say is that a really hot shower will cause it to alert. Not sure how to fix that.
