My old ones beeped in the middle of the night and you could never tell which one was bad. This solves all those issues and even has a nightlight that turns on as you walk by it.

It's a connected smoke and co alarm. Easy to set up. I dig the "night light" when you pass by it if it's dark enough. Is it worth $100 to you though?
