Exceptional! Smart home smoke and carbon detector.

excellent product for protection of your home and self

Was working fine at first but soon began to go off without any smoke. Was able to call nest and have it replaced asap. Great customer service. No issues since.

This review is for the BestBuy Holyoke store which ships old inventory. Nest protect have a manufacturer date and an expiration date of 10 years from manufacture. The product I received as “new” is in fact 8 months old. This cuts the product lifespan by nearly one year or 10%. If you are shipping less than new products then be truthful and disclose this in the product description.

We got this product for our 1,300sqft condo. Probably should have only purchased two but it was a better deal to purchase 3 and these are loud. There is no missing a fire or carbon monoxide. I don't turn the light on when walking around since the small green night light lights up. Its not a bright light by any means but its bright enough that I didn't need to turn the lights on. Its pretty cool. We have one near our front door which is next to the kitchen and one in the master bedroom. Great investment! Works well with our google home as we automate our entire home.

The units were easy to set up and network and will provide house wide alerts in the event of a fire of CO incident. Easy to test and maintain.

Good quality. Got 2 false fire alarms and had to drive home. Probably somebody tried to hack it.

This smoke detector device(s) meet and exceed expectations. They were easy to install and east to operate. I now have 7 of these devices in my home and feel well protected.

I bought 7 total Nest Protects for my house (one battery, 6 wired). Once I installed the first one it was super easy to install the rest. Love the motion sensing nightlight!

I did a whole house update. They link together easily and have features that other do not. Now, they are not the cheapest options and you don't really have to have them.

These Nest Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors are awesome - just as the Nest Thermometers. So easy to install, they look great and are an excellent replacement for our older units.

I'm getting into the smarthome world and began with upgrading my smoke sensors. I like that this model detects both smoke and Co2 in single unit. App works well on iOS.

I still feel like this is a high entry point for a smart carbon monoxide detector. That being said, it's pretty and easy to navigate. If you're interested I say go for it.

I have a few of these but they only last about 7 years and one of mine only lasted 3 before it died. Price to high for lifespan.

We love these. Best feature is the green circle before bed knowing the battery will last through the night! No middle of night beeping again!

replaced end of life unit,disappointed that it needed a new mount with different hole pattern than the old unit

Nest makes a good product ,it far exceeded my expectations, the price is high, but well worth it knowing its going to protect not only your home but your family as well.
