Expensive but worth it!

I put them in the hallways to each floor and at the entrance to my finished attic. When one goes off and tells you what’s wrong they tell it to all of them sequentially! So if you’re upstairs and don’t hear alerts for smoke in the kitchen the one on floor three will tell you!!! Feel much safer now.

Bought four of these, and two have failed in less than a year. They both are saying smoke sensor failure. Went on the website, did the troubleshooting as they instructed. Looked all over their website to try and find a phone number so I could actually contact somebody that could offer further support -apparently that’s not an option. Not only is it an inferior product, there’s no customer support after you’ve purchased it. Still having the same problem. Very disappointed in Google and I will not be purchasing any more of these pieces of junk!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We are heavily integrated in the Nest ecosystem (4 Nest outdoor cameras, 1 Nest thermostat, Nest Secure and now Nest Protect). Because we live in an older home (with older electrical wiring), it's nice having the peace of mind that Nest Protect will alert me if there's smoke or carbon monoxide. This is a worthwhile investment to provide peace of mind.
