I replaced my 7 year old smoke detectors with Protects and very happy. My home is not only protected from unexpected smoke and CO2 but also can be silenced remotely, shows us the pathway in the dark and tells us everything is ok when we turn the lights off. Works great. Bought it to put outside the nursery and operates exactly as expected. Notifies you subtly prior to loud alarm and easily muted to prevent weaking our twin infants. Would recommend for any parent!

I’ve had this smoke detector in my daughters room for a year or so. Wonderful product that’s easy to install and connect to WiFi. I already have a nest thermostat and integrated easily into my existing app and account. The self tests and alerts when batteries are low make me feel confident that we are protected.

Nice upgrade from your typical, old-school CO2/smoke detector. I feel the price is just a tad over what it should cost the consumer. Overall, it looks good and the motion sensor night light is perfect. Definitely get the battery over the wired.

Easy to set up and test. Has an motion sensor night light that is a cool feature. 1 week after I installed Wife left pot on the stove. The Nest went off and notified me at work via the phone app. Then sent me another notification that it was clear as I was calling home as my wife was notified by the alarm and turned off stove.

Nest co/smoke detectors are very easy to install and provides the security you are seeking for in home safety. I have had them for over 5 years, and am still utilizing them. If i ever had problems, customer support was very helpful at resolving problems.

I really like the functionality of the alarm, and how nicely it interfaces with my thermostats in the nest app, but be awair that it gives off a green light in a dark space when motion is detected. I'm not sure I like that in my bedroom at might. I can't see how to turn this off. I'm sure its safer, though I've never used a nightlight.

The Nest is a great detector. I have put one at each level in my home. It's easy to install. Hooks to your wifi network and communicates between floors. There was smoke in the kitchen due to someone trying to cook when all the detectors went off informing us where the smoke was detected. Works as a cool night light also.

This smoke/carbon monoxide detector is amazing. I love that it is interconnected with other units and reports info to our phones. It also has a motion activated nightlight for the kids! The voice is pleasant and testing is easy and not obnoxious. We have already purchased more and told our friends and family to get them!

We have had the nest thermostats for a few years but were cautious about investing in the protect. We started with 2 recently and love them. Plan to buy another 4 on BF. It's great to have that extra peace of mind when leaving the house and know that they are self testing weekly. Install was easy. Not a single complaint.

I have many of these in a couple of houses. They work really well. The only caution I would mention is that when batteries get low, you need to replace them relatively quickly (within a week) otherwise the alarm will sound. Easy to attach to NEST account and easy to install.

We love our nest. It is a modern look that looks more like decorations than something weird on the ceiling. It’s perfect!

great smart smoke alarm. expensive, but you get total piece of mind - smoke, self testing, CO2, app connectivity. the "pathlight" nightlight is nice and feels like you get some value out of something you hope never has to go off

Super easy to install and work very well. My son's fog machine set them off after Christmas. I lhave four in two houses and love that they are all visible on my nest app.

If you travel and want 24hr home smoke and carbon monoxide monitoring, then invest in a NEST alarm. Easy to install. I added two NEST to compliment my existing smoke and CO alarms. I placed one upstairs and one downstairs. These truly are next generation smoke and CO detection systems.

I love how easy it is to set these up and the app u/I experience is smooth and easy. The fact that the detectors are interconnected so if one goes off they’ll all go off but not only that it will tell me which one first detected the danger is great. Best on the market as far as I can tell
