Easy to setup and their technical support is very helpful in figuring out the wiring diagram for my heater, I like the feature light feature "ON" if it sense someone nearby at dark.

I found the Nest Protect very easy to install, especially when installing multiple. They all talk to each other during the set up phase. I didn't realize these would be so loud! (even the voice command which is mean to be more of a warning than an actual emergency alarm). But I suppose it is a good thing for safety purposes. Biggest downside is that they are not cheap but I'd gladly buy more.

Easy to install and user friendly app. Offer unprecedented peace of mind and notifies you when smoke is detected when away from home. CO2 detector is a plus.

The product looks and works great, but for some reason adding any new nest product always fails when I have 5 GHz enabled on my WiFi. This is because Google expects you to have separate SSIDs for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. To clarify this since Google will submit a generic rebuttal, of course I DO HAVE 2.4 enabled also and that is not the problem. The problem is that I must disable 5 GHz in order to setup any of the nest products that I use in my home (doorbell/cams/thermostats). After wasting a lot of time with useless error codes which are extremely vague and poorly documented, and starting over and over and over, I found the suggestion online and it worked. If they fixed that one thing or at least clearly documented this obvious issue, this would have definitely been a 5 star review!

I have three of these and love them. Easy to set up, easy to install and easy to access via phone app. I just wish I bought the wired version instead of battery version

Installation is super easy. I already had an older version of this so setting the new ones up and syncing everything was very simple.

I got the google nest protect, very easy to install, give you alerts on your phone. You can control everything with your phone.

I have Nest thermostats and these smoke/carbon monoxide detectors are outstanding. The features they provide for their price point is amazing. The Nest app is so easy to use as well.

We love the Nest Protect. Just replaced our expired one. Replacing with the newest version was easy. Highly recommend.

I like the night light feature. Is just enough light to move through a dark room. Wish it would show real time information through app like current level of co.

combines both the smoke detector and the CO detector into one unit, so even though it seems expensive, it is cost effective. The best part is the 2 units I installed talk to each other. So if you are in the bedroom and there is a problem in the kitchen, the detector alerts you to the location of the alarm verbally. Also the unit has a built in automatic light so you can see your way in the dark. The units also integrate with the nest system thermostats and the information is available on your smart phone. A great innovation for a necessary item in the home. My only concern is I have the battery model, and with all this going on we will see how long the batteries last.

I really like Nest products but there are some issues. While installing a second smoke detector it requires that you first scan the first detector. Normally wouldn't be a problem except my first unit is 200 miles away in my cabin, so it is not linked to my other systems. I also lose WiFi connections to my units so I cannot check the temp or change the temps remotely. Also quite expensive.

Works great! My son smoked up the kitchen cooking and it contacted me at work to let me know. Gives me great piece of mind.

Very easy to install! Luckily I haven't to hear it in real use but the light features are cool and the app always shows it as connected!

With the nest I can make sure my family are safe from possible co2 poisoning and smoke inhalation! U can connect it w/ nest app so you can monitor the system outside the house.

We had one at the other house. We like to have some thing that we can make sure id is working at all times. it also work with your thermostat in your house.
