Love this product, super easy to install and very easy to connect to the app

The 2nd Gen Nest Protect improves upon a great product. Set up is very easy. The installation takes less than 10 minutes. Now I can check on my house whenever and wherever I am.

This is a great detector. Has a built in night lite that is motion detected. Has Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detection, Talks to other Nest products for total home protection.

This was exactly what I needed and thought it would be. A must have for those looking for a smoke and carbon monoxide detector. A little pricey but worth it.

I replaced all 6 old fashioned detectors with these. No issues so far. Very nice to view important information in the app and run tests etc.

In the process of creating a smart home, the Nest smoke / carbon monoxide alarm was a no brainier when it came time to upgrade our current smoke alarm. Because this particular model is battery operated, I was able to install it in an area of concern that was not hard wired. This is great technology with room for improvement but as is, it certainly provides a more secure peace of mind knowing that it can monitor and alert you of a potential problem and the area that may be at risk. Looking forward to adding more Nest products to our home in the near future. Another great buy at Best Buy!

Very easy to install, this is the 3rd Nest alarm I have ... they work seamlessly together, worth the investment.

I like how it works with a phone . That way my dogs are safer . Us knowing if a fire or carbon monoxide happens while we are gone that we will know to hurry home

Google Nest products are very smart and real liable. I feel very safe in my home especially while I’m out. I know my pets will be safe as the app is amazing easy to use and since I have my phone with me I’m always in touch with anything that might arise, I highly recommend this product.

This was purchased to tie into our network. I wish the original would connect, but it is so useful to have everything connected on the app.

This detector works great. I had problems with y old detector going off for non-emergencies. Even shower steam was setting it off. Not a problem with this one.
