This product is essential for home or work. Works well, the quality it is amazing, and it is very easy to use.

In the process of creating a smart home, the Nest smoke / carbon monoxide alarm was a no brainier when it came time to upgrade our current smoke alarm. Because this particular model is battery operated, I was able to install it in an area of concern that was not hard wired. This is great technology with room for improvement but as is, it certainly provides a more secure peace of mind knowing that it can monitor and alert you of a potential problem and the area that may be at risk. Looking forward to adding more Nest products to our home in the near future. Another great buy at Best Buy!

Easy set-up and install. I like the continuous checking to ensure the system works and all the alarms are connected.

It's worth the extra money for this advanced smoke/ carbon monoxide detector. I like that it gives you a verbal warning first to let you know, then alarm will go off. So in case you are near it and see no smoke, you can shut off the alarm before it starts.

This was purchased to tie into our network. I wish the original would connect, but it is so useful to have everything connected on the app.

This is my second of the nest detector. The first was wired and this is battery. Both are great and easy to set up and work together nicely.

Easy to use and set up.. Works on wifi to send alerts.. Also has a motion sensor to illuminate the place where its mounted at night .. Compliments my best thermostat..

I like how it works with a phone . That way my dogs are safer . Us knowing if a fire or carbon monoxide happens while we are gone that we will know to hurry home

This turns a boring device into a decoration. The motion activated night light is great.

This detector works great. I had problems with y old detector going off for non-emergencies. Even shower steam was setting it off. Not a problem with this one.

Amazing! This is a replacement for our first generation model. Very easy to setup and add to our WiFi.

Installation was a breeze. The Nest App walks you through the process. I hope that these do not have to be truly tested but feel safer knowing that Nest has me covered.

Easy to use. What I like about it is you can use your Nestcam with it. If the camera hears the alarm it will produce a video and send you a notification also.
