Great smoke detector i love it cause it goes along with the rest of my nest products all in one app.

Nest Protect is a premium Smoke/Carbon Monoxide detector. It is more expensive than most others but what I like about it is that I installed it in my cabin on Lake Superior and can monitor it from my home in Texas. The Nest thermostat has the same capability which allows me to control the temperature remotely. This is especially important in freezing temperatures.

The price is a little high but the product is great. I like the diagnosis that it runs daily and the connectivity to my Nest thermostat as well.

This is a great product that was easy to install. The smartphone smartphone setup is fairly easy and seamlessly integrates all the other NEST products I have.

Extremely easy to setup and integrate with the Nest account. Really like the night motion light. Pricey but works as advertised.

It's a very nice design, and a perfect smoke detector for any stylish house as it does not look utilitarian. A great addition to the other Nest products.

My son moved into a 3-story apt with a basement and a wired smoke detection system with the alarm panel in the basement. The landlord had unplugged the panel and removed the battery. Rather than getting him to fix it, only to unplug it again in the future, we installed 4-Nest smoke and CO detectors, one on each floor. They are networked so that they act like a wired system. An alarm on one puts them all into alarm. My son (and I) sleep better knowing there is a system under his control, not the landlords.

I already have other kind of smoke detector,but I always want it to try this one and I love it.

I bought this to assure I had carbon monoxide protection even is the power went out. I also like the way it lights up at night when I walk under it.

The Nest combined smoke/carbon monoxide detector gives you peace of mind and an easy to use application. The nightlight is great for the hallway as well!

It was a cinch to install. Now when I'm on vacation I can see if my house is still safe via the NEST app. We have two detectors and two thermostats.

This thing is LOUD, as it should be. Love that we get the alert to our phone, just in case.
