Amazing device, and so far only one false alarm! But as someone that is away from his home a lot this has been a great peace of mind.

Awesome smoke detector, apart from the obvious features, I really love the night light.

Works almost too good. I sprayed some air freshener and the device picked it up. It speaks to you as well. The only thing I would say is the alarm is quick to go off but there is a small delay when it comes to the app alerting you.

We bought a bunch and there's some really helpful features over and above a regular smoke detector. Specifically: - It can tell you exactly which room smoke is in - It gives you a heads up instead of a loud alarm as smoke starts increasing - You can monitor events/smoke/fires when you're not home All the above amounts to a lot less worry and a lot more peace of mind over the conventional smoke alarm.

I love that they are wireless and that they talke to each other. I already have a full smoke detector system in my house, but I wanted redundancy and wanted an alarm in the garage. so I bout two of them one in th emain living room and one in the garage. they talk to each other and they alert my phone. I now have peace of mind knowing that 1) I have redundancy 2) I can now hear in the house if the alarm in the garage is set 3) I will receive an alert on my phone if there is trouble at home. They are pricey but peace of mind goes a long way.

Great product keeps you updated on everything going on with smoke or carbon monoxide. Even tells me when my wife burns dinner right in my phone!

The setup and install was very easy. I haven’t had to use it yet, but it’s great having piece of mind with this.

It's worth the extra money for this advanced smoke/ carbon monoxide detector. I like that it gives you a verbal warning first to let you know, then alarm will go off. So in case you are near it and see no smoke, you can shut off the alarm before it starts.

Easy set up, works great. I like the fact that you can quiet the detector if you burn something in the kitchen without taking the battery out.

Easy setup with an existing Nest system. Easiest way I know of complying with interconnectedness required by the latest Fire codes.

I’ve yet to install the product due to a housing discrimination issue, but the tech looks promising. My primary reason for purchasing the equipment is testing connectivity... From what I seen on the spec sheet, the product does not support wireless dual band capabilities...

Nest delivers big with this smoke/carbon monoxide alarm that also has a night light feature that activates with motion

I bought this smoke alarm to go with the Nest thermostat and it works very well, especially if you have other Nest products. Very easy to set up and use.

Totally worth the money, so many cool features. For instance, the "path light" features will turn on a dim halo of light if it senses motion and it is dark in the room. This makes getting up for midnight snacks much less hazardous. Also, the alarms actually speak words to you to alert you to the type of emergency and in what room the emergency is located. If you set the alarm off by accident, you can even silence it from the app on your phone or by pressing the center the of the device itself. Great peace of mind for having kids and pets.

Works very well so far, I've had it for about a month. Sends notifications very quick and tells you when the smoke clears and in what area. Very impressed with it, the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is due to how expensive it is. I'm planning on buying more since I know now they are worth it.

This is my 3rd home I’ve equipped with Nest products. They continue to be the best!

We had a nest protect at our last home and got one for our new home. Like that it checks on itself. Like the night light. Like the messages.
