Awesome Piece of Mind

We had a house fire a few years ago and wished we'd known about the fire sooner as no one was home. Luckily, since installing, the only alerts we've gotten are when someone is burning bacon in the kitchen. We purchased this second one for a small unit we have on Airbnb. We love the push notifications and monitoring via the Nest App. Works great on our iPhones. Note: We also have a bunch of other Nest products and are very happy with them too.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Nest Protect has such wonderful little features. A week ago I had a little smoke from cooking. Almost instantly the Protect gave me an audible warning that it was seeing a rise in smoke and may soon sound the alarm that it advised would be loud. At the same time it sent my phone a message and a minute later another message that the smoke level was decreasing. And every night as I turn off the lights, I look up at the Protect to see a green glowing ring to indicate that it is working properly. I never have to guess. Great!
