I was fast asleep and at 1:00 AM it detected smoke from a log that rolled out of the fireplace. None of the other regular smoke alarms in the house went off, but the Nest smoke alarm...which wasn't even in the same room....came on with a smoke warning. It wasn't an annoying alarm but rather a smoke warning in a booming announcement that is very loud. I'm a deep sleeper and it woke me right up from across the house.

Life saver Nest Product

Had a previous incident regarding a stove that was left unattended, it instantly notified everyone in the house hold on the speaker built in and on all our phones. What made the experience better was that it mentioned be cautious while focusing my Nest cameras that were currently installed in the living room so that it showed me the current events. Definitely recommend!
