The set up was easy just like the other Nest products I own. The verbal commands are great. Another plus is how this detector lights up when you are near giving you a little light as you walk through your home.

Gets the job done, pairs easily with Nest and love the night light.

This thing does it all! Even tells you when everything is OK. Links with all other Nest products.

Pros: Extremely attractive, easy to install such that all detectors recognize and communicate with each other, these detectors alert with loud alarms and speak in marvelously synthetic human voice revealing the nature of the alarm and the location of the problem. This is sensational compared to my former alarms where it could take 20 minutes to discover which alarm was alerting and why. We love the path lighting feature that functions as a night light after sunset when lights are off and you simply walk anywhere near the detectors. Testing and status of alarms, batteries by my smartphone is great, rather than getting on a ladder and pushing a button. Cons: relatively expensive, but IMHO worth the added cost. Concern: How long will the batteries last. I am accustomed to 12 to 18 months with former detectors, and am hoping for double that with the Nest detectors. I'll have to wait and see :-)

It is great how it can pair with your nest thermostat and let it know if youre home or not. I also love the pathway lights at night. The only downside, is if you have animals, it will give a false impression that someone is home to the nest thermostat.

This Nest product looks amazing and sounds loud. Just a little upset on price is on the HIGH side. Other than that, its great and highly recommend,,

Great Nest and as an added bonus it has a night light feature

I bought Nest because previous detector would trigger due to steam from shower. No problem with Nest.

Was a gift for my parents, works great for them. They got one as a gift last year and liked it enough that they wanted two more for the house. They're quite happy with them. Nothing outstanding but they're cool and work as needed.

Best purchase ever absolutely love that it turns on the light when you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night just an added feature to a smoke detector. I also love the wave figure for when you are burning something in the kitchen and trigger the smoke detector. I love that it gives you a warning first
