Great if you're a Google/Nest product owner

We had converted two other old smoke detectors 1 1/2 years ago along with adding a Nest indoor camera and video doorbell as well as a Nest Secure alarm system. If you've already invested in other Google/Nest home automation products, then this is a no brainer.

The Nest provides total protection

The Nest does everything it says and even lights your way in a dark room or hallway by shining it circular light. What a great Christmas gift this would make for your children ot grand children.

Nest Protect is the BEST

If you have multiple Protects in your home they communicate with each other to ensure the health of the units and make announcements. If there is an alert all Protects announce it along with information on the location of the problem and the severity. Any Nest Cams on the network begin filming and an alert is sent to your cell phone. Truly an intelligent system.

Like how it connects to the bridge for control through an app. Nightlight feature is neat, however took me over a month to figure out it’s settings can be changed (i.e. brightness/on/off) as its preset is rather bright
