Worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With all the different alarms and technology available I was skeptical at first whether or not the Nest Alarm was worth the money, but it has been a life saver! We had a small kitchen fire that our normal detector didn't pick up, but Nest did immediately, and we were able to control it before it turned into a bigger issue. I will be replacing every detector throughout my home with these.

Exactly what I needed

I get a notification if there is a problem so I can check in. Four stars because the price is probably a little high.

Great Option for Non-wired Spaces
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is our 3rd Nest Protect, the first two were wired in our main house but we converted our garage into a guest house with full kitchen and bathroom so having protection out there was important but not having planned in our renovation for this wiring was a huge oversight on our part, luckily Nest offers a battery version...now if they'll only do the same with the doorbell!

Reliable, smart technology

It is very sensitive and will detect cooking smoke quick and alert all our phones and the device speaks loudly to notify. It is great since she is very forgetful and can be a lifesaver.

So I bought two of these with a discount price on them that no other stores would beat. BestBuy is such a great company and I am so glad that we have replaced our nests with these new ones. They are absolutely needed in every home!!
