Great detectors to have at home

Easy to setup and install (battery version), but not looking forward to replacing them all ten years from now.

Great way to keep informed of your house

Consistently gets me notifications whenever it observes a slight smoke in the air which sometimes maybe over sensitive but appreciate to be over sensitive than not so sensitive. Overall happy with it.

Best smoke detector I have ever had

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The nest smoke detector woke me up at 5:50 in the morning telling me there was smoke detected in the upstairs bedroom. I grabbed a fire extinguisher and went up to find my AC junction box on fire. If it hadn't told me were the fire was I probably wouldn't have had time to get there quick enough to put the fire out.

Instead of having alarms ringing an not knowing from where. Loves these cause they tell you exactly which room is going off.

Great as usual

Also I had to satisfy the building inspector by having a wired smoke detector that communicated with another detector in the building. This added to the battery powered Nest detector in a different room made the house safer, and the inspector happy. Also, this works with the thermostat. It will turn the unit off if smoke is detected!

Good fire alarm

I enjoy opening the nest app and everything I need to know is there. I like the automatic check ups and the warning of a battery is low. (No more hunting for which fire alarm is chirping in the middle of the night... honestly.. who was genius that thought of that...?)
