We bought three of the Nest Smoke & Carbon Monoxide alarms. We love them! A nice surprise was the small light that comes on and off when you walk by the alarm. I think it is called a path light. We are now going to buy a fourth alarm.

Since I already have the thermostat and camera getting a protect was partly to round out having the Nest Family. However I purchased it because of the integration with the other products. I installed this one in the vicinity of my furnace, this is so that if CO is detected it can shut the hvac and furnace off. I like the fact its self checking and can report back on its status. Planning to get more for the living space to take advantage of the activity sensor and pathlight.

I frequently leave my house empty or occupied by an elderly relative and being able to check the Nest app and see that "everything is okay" (the app actually says that) has given me great piece of mind. A little pricey, but definitely worth it.

I bought this for my father and I feel comfortable knowing he is sage now. His old detector kept going off when they cooked. Now he can make adjustments from his phone and turn off the alarm.

Love the dual smoke and carbon monoxide detection. Looks great as well. Gives us peace of mind to know our family is protected. High end pricing compared to others but great reviews made the decision easy

Good smart carbon monoxide and smoke detector. They have a good lifetime of around 7 years or so. I have several of them in the house so we have had no problems with them for now.

Love the ability to check everything is fine from far away or get a notification that something is happening and be able to follow up. Overall great product.

now this thing is great, i love the fact that it warns you that it detects smoke and gives you a chance to silence the alarm for burned toast events. no more ripping appart the alarm to disconnect the battery

We now have 5 NEST protect. They are super simple to instal and with the free app, they give you peace of mind for your family. The easiest products to use and enjoy. NEST don't think twice. Buy them and make your life easier.

Not cheap... But what price do you put on family safety? First time in a home with natural gas for heating & cooking... Had to have CO detectors as well as smoke detectors in every bedroom. I love that they communicate with my smart phone.

I feel much safer with this Smoke & Co detector. I will be buying 1 or more soon. It will alert you on your phone while away. Piece of mind for Pet owners. You can set it up to turn on like a night light when it detects motion.

These are great, I already have one in my home and decided to add another to my basement.

We have two unfinished portions of our attic that we use for storage. We put one in each area. We also put one near the stove and microwave. It’s nice to get added protection in areas that are not wired.

This is my second Nest Protect. I have one for the first floor, one for the second. I love how the app occasionally notifies me when it is about to do a test. It reminds me that it is always in good heather.

we have 5 of them now. The first one we got at Best buy too and we liked so much come back to get 4 more. Best buy has the best prices and product is awesome. We highly recommended!
