Great system. My only gripe is that the cameras have to be plugged in rather than hardwired. This required a larger hike in the exterior of my home than I anticipated. Easy to use. Family likes it

To date, we love this easy to manage security system. Hassle free and accessible from wherever you have internet connection. Worth the money.

Smart home security components a good way to get started. Works even better with Nest Hello doorbell and Nest hub. Setup with Google accounts and assistant can be complicated.

Set up was a breeze and the clarity is fantastic! The final star is missing because the talk feature is a bit off. It's like a two-way radio and it lags so you miss some of the conversation.

It’s amazing how a company can bundle a security system! Although it is pricey! You get your money’s worth! It is a great tool for a home security! I need to get 2 more of these for my other homes!

These Nest Detects are so clever and unique. Love that I can push the bottom to allow me to edit without turning off alarm. Also, nice highlight feature. Alarm system and app work great with other Nest products.

very easy to set up and use, even for someone as tech challenged as my mom. the alarm blaringly loud which is a good thing. only con is the price, kinda expensive compared to other diy systems

Another Nest product that works well and is easy to use. The door sensors are awesome. I like how they made them reusable instead of disposable. The fact that integrates with other Nest devices is convenient too.

Very easy setup. Nest Guard didn't connect to one of the sensors across the house, but it was resolved when I installed a Nest Connect that came with a Nest x Yale lock.

Great reliable system. I have a family member with a professional alarm system. It works exactly the same as Nest. It’s reliable, easy to use, and simple to set up (if I can do it, anyone can).

My only issue with this is the camera is a little slow. Theres a slight delay on getting notifications from live motion.

Had to replace my first version due to connection issues. Second one had same issue intermittently but seems to have resolved on own.

I like controlling the alarm when I’m away. It also informs you to turn on the alarm when you leave and turn it off when it senses you’re near.

pretty good for a medium home security. might be my wifi, but it picks up movement a little delayed at times. other times, it picks up changes in shadows from light.

This item helped save so much time and money. Good service fees for security and good sensory products to help protect my home.

My residence already has a built in home alarm system , perimeter security cameras, and perimeter laser beam system (sounds fancy but the beams are actually a second system which was more common about 20 years ago and I've upgraded them) along with other private security measures I don't list publically. In addition I have Nest cams inside the home and pointing outside the home. With all of that I still purchased this Nest secure system because it covers some bases the rest don't. I can't tell you if this can replace all other types of systems but I can tell you that adding it to your security arsenal does really work out. The capabilities and usefulness goes way beyond what's advertised. Easy to view logs allow you to track every time any movement or sensor was tripped. As opposed to just tripping sensors this device will allow you to know the back door was opened and at what time for you to retrace events in real time or in the past. Looking through my security cameras even focusing on just motion takes a lot of time but using it with conjunction of the accurate Nest secure sensors I can really piece together every detail of a any moment. Also, because this uses the cloud, this system actually helps protect and home alarm and security camera system. You can come in and disable a home alarm and destroy the camera dvr box but the nest secure will log this information in an outside server untouchable to criminals. Also Nest cams can cover the areas of the DVR and home alarm stations through the cloud as well. I also bought a second device as a gift for an older lady so it was important this was easy to use for all ages. The unit has worked well in every way for both of us. If you are used to the old hard wired alarm systems you'll be happy to know the foundation of having to enter a code still exists as an option but controlling the device through key fobs or your phone will be used equally as often. The reason this was selected over all other competitors is because I was thinking long term. This is part of the Nest family which is owned by Google. Even if you can argue these new systems are similar to each other you can't really believe the smaller companies are going to be able to keep up with technological advancements. Other than Alex/Amazon products I really don't think many of the other security systems will be around in 5 years. Moreover, you really want to get Nest cams which work within the same app.

Not only do I appreciate having the ability to keep my apartment safe but the phone app is pretty good too. Only a few connectivity issues due to my current location.

The product is ok, I like the integration of having everything in one app, I wish they include more sensors in the box.

Purchased in 2018 and still using today. Added more cameras in 2020. Image quality is excellent! Satisfied with entire system!

The package worked well overall, but it was difficult to connect to wifi. I had to turn off my cellular connection for the nest app to work.
