Although it took a while to figure out how to use it, after you do this, it is actually quite simple to operate. I like the fact that it provides all the needed information succinctly and in a manner which is easy to see and comprehend. Overall very happy with it... and it is pretty cool looking

G-SUITE USERS - ALERT If you have a GSuite account with Google, THIS STILL DOES NOT WORK. I know google has promised in the past to make the Nest thermostats work in GSuite. I was hoping that it was fixed with this new thermostat since it says its primarily setup with Google Home. Its not the case. Also annoying is the adjust and select functions that you "slide" your fingers on the right side and its not touch screen. The older Learning & E thermostats with the rotating ring were much easier to use. This was returned for an Ecobee3 that works just fine with Google Home and a GSuite account. Sorry Google.

Great value for a sleek and intuitive thermostat. It doesn't have the learning of the more advanced model. I've had those in another house and we ended up overwriting the "smart" program anyway. I did have an issue with my network but it went away when I upgraded my router tech.

So far google nest products have been nothing but junk. This is no exception. Google nest video doorbell died within a few months. Google nest temperature sensor died after a year. This thermostat needed to have a power module sent to me by google (they offer it free because they know they screwed up on the design). Finally got that figured out no thanks to their terrible installation instructions (ended up watching video on y-tube to get it right). Wifi function worked for about a month. Now no matter what i try it reduses to connect to the wifi. The app is useless, their tech support online and in app is a joke. Save your money and buy an Ecobee.

Really cool thermostat. Only issue I can say is that the touch pad on the side isn’t the easiest to use but honestly don’t really adjust it thru the device much since have it to automatically adjust at certain times of the day.

Installed and set up in about twenty minutes, routines and all. If you need the remote sensors they do not work with this model, you need the silver and black one.

I needed a new thermostat and this turned out to be a great one! I’m able to use the app and control the temperature of my home when I’m away and you can also program it to specific settings.

I thought the Nest Learning Thermostat E was great at its price point, but this is even better! It looks great and performs well while being sold at a very reasonable price point. The only drawback is the lack of learning capability, but that didn't affect me. A solid smart thermostat.

This product is particularly suitable for apartment living. It allows me to effortlessly set a timeline to optimize my electricity usage.

I love this thermostat! Way better than the ecobee. I can control from my phone. Geek squad help me install it. It’s a little difficult to set up. But works good.

This is by far the best product I have purchased. I can control my thermostat from my bed, or when I go out, before I get home. The only thing I didn't know, was that you need to buy in some cases the frame to hold it in place if you have one of those old thermostat. Highly recommend.

Good thermostat but the regular nest is better and higher quality. It is very average but better looking for the price range. Only uses the google home app, I prefer the Nest app.

Works great like the options it has. I like being able to get the most control of my hvac dystem.

Thermostat is difficult to connect to internet and Google Home App. Took numerous tries by myself and 2 different Best Buy contractors.

Easy setup. However, cannot use old Google Nest app on this one. Must download and use Google Home app. Had several G-mail accounts. If I did not yet have one, would have been a hassle.

Works ok. I don’t like the difficult programming without detailed instructions. They made it way too complicated. I have two in the house [2 furnaces & ac units] and too often they don’t acknowledge when I’m home or away properly.

I really like the thermostat. The only reason for it not getting 5 stars, is that it disconnects from google home every month. A quick restart resolves it,but still.

I never thought setting up a thermostat would be this easy but Google really did that. The design is very sleek and the front is a mirror which I didnt expect. I blew a fuse installing this so make sure your power is off before installing this. A cost effective option to the 3rd Gen Nest.
