The system allows for me to keep control of my AC system. No exactly how much energy I’m using and be able to understand where can I cut down a little bit on my energy consumption.

I’m sure there are other thermostats with more features at a higher price point, but for my small home and basic needs this works great. Interface is simple and user friendly. Thinking of getting my parents one for Christmas. Also if you have a Pg&e account you can claim a $50 rebate, which makes this product a must get.

I miss the Nest app. The thermostat itself works great my home is more evenly heated and it’s easy to use one else you learn it. I set up a schedule when ig first installed everything and can no long find where to edit the schedule. Otherwise it’s a nice smart home tool.

Setting up is a little complicated if you have no experience, but managable. I needed to connect a power connector to the thermostat, but it lasted a while until I had time to do it.

The Nest Thermostat is designed to work if your home doesn’t have a common (“C”) wire. In some cases, particularly if you have a heating- or cooling-only system or use a zone controller, a C wire or other power-supply accessory may be necessary. great thermostat

It's working well. I had to call a company to install it ("Hello Tech" for $99) I like that i can change the temperature from my phone I also had to buy the Nest plate to put behind as the thermostat is small and did not cover the hole in the wall left after removing the old thermostat

Not compatible with New Hvacs

Very confused sad I had to return. The upgraded versions that have been released before this are supposed to be compatible.

Value for money and it works without a C wire

I recommend the trim plate if your home already has holes in the wall since the nest thermostat without the trim kit may not cover the old holes. Overall, great product!

I have struggled to learn how to use the app, but that is probably a reflection of me. I would still recommend the thermostat. The ability to control the thermostat remotely, setting schedules, and monitoring usage it a great benefit.

Seems great value for the money. It does not have the learning feature which may not save them as much money but they are always home so it did not seem necessary. Did have some difficulty setting it up but seemed to be the unit and not the thermostat.
