Easy to install and easy to hook up. I had to replace my thermostat and decided to live in the 21st century. Definitely worth the money, especially with my local rebates.

Happy with ease of use, less than 15 mins install, up and running; make sure to check into and take advantage of potential significant electricity supplier rebate program to purchase; savings can go up to $75.

Ever since google purchased Nest I have had nothing but problems with my thermostats. The nest thermostats burned out the PC board on my high efficiency furnace. It set me back $1200.00. I had to go back to a basic Honeywell non WiFi manual programable set of thermostats. My HVAC guy suggested I do this to prevent further damage to the new PC board. Apparently the thermostats draw continuous power from Furnace controller and eventually fry the board. Veissmann furnaces will void your factory warranty if they find out that you have Nest thermostats. It says it clearly on their service bulletin. If you value your HVAC system, steer clear of the Nest Thermostats.

I highly recommend. I purchase this since 2023 and to date I have no issues. The app works great and you have total control.

I didn't realize it from the photos online, but the face of this Nest thermostat is actually a mirror. This is really cool because it means that it reflects the wall color on the opposite wall, making it blend with any decor. We had the more expensive one of these in our last house, but I like this one better. The "learning" function on the more expensive one was glitchy, causing it to turn off the AC sometimes when it was really hot and then it took a while to finally cool off (we lived in South Florida). This one is simple and easy.

Great thermostat. It is easy to use and has a sleek design. The temperature control is accurate and consistent, ensuring a comfortable environment at all times. Additionally, the thermostat has smart features that allow for remote control and scheduling, adding convenience to my daily routine. The thermostat does what is advertised - but it is not as simple to understand A/C unit compatibility as I had hoped. We have an old (1970's?) all-in-one packaged HVAC in an apartment, and the Nest sometimes doesn't have control of the unit fan. So even if the cooling or heating are off, the circulating fan stays on - I can't tell if this is caused by incompatibility or just my old A/C unit. Ultimately I like being able to use Google Home to control the thermostat wirelessly. The touch controls are average.

The Nest seems to be working fine, though I haven't tested its "extras", eg programming it to change temperatures. Since our boiler tends to cause problems, I wanted a thermostat that would allow me to see problems when I'm out of town during the winter months. This will allow me to have the breakdowns fixed before the house (pipes) freeze. I like being able to check and change the temperature from my iPhone. I haven't a need for it to "learn" my heating habits. I'll eventually program it to adjust the temp several times per day, but I only desire set times and changes.

I love everything from this thermostat. Especially how it looks at the house.

Although it was missing the screws, still a good product has been working well with no problem. The wifi set up was a little annoying but once I got passed that it was easy.

This is a very nice looking thermostat. The way it works is a little different than the prior nest thermostat I had but it was easy enough to figure out. It was super easy to install.

I love these. I have had both models. This is a simple smart programmable one where the other more expsensive one is a learning one. For the new house, this worked just fine. Looks sleek and nice against my white wall and it was easy to hook up to a dual zone, heat pump forced air furnace. No issues with it. The only buggy thing I have noticed is the App temp reading toggles back and forth when you try to set a temp. You have to tell it a few times for it to take. I think that's just a communication issue between the app and the thermostat though. Really, it's a minor issue and will probably be fixed with an update. Overall happy with it!

I replaced my old Honeywell with the google thermostat. Nothing was wrong with the old unit but I like how small the google one was and how you can check an app to see if you remembered to turn it off when youre not home. I was able to install it without the C (blue) wire. Everything works fine. The trim plate looks disgustingly like an afterthought in the design. Much cleaner without the trim plate.

This is exactly what we wanted, love the color and how easy it’s to use.

We finally replaced our old honeywell with this nest and it's been AMAZING! So easy and convenient to have the controls on my phone. And I swear the AC kicks on 10x faster than it would before.
