Set up was kind of a huge pain…install is easy but getting it connected to the internet was awful.

Posted .Hi Logan, it's great that you liked the customization and control for your Nest Thermostat. We´re sorry for any inconvenience you may have had setting it up and connecting it to your Wi-Fi network.
While Wi-Fi connectivity issue may be caused by several reasons, here are a couple troubleshooting suggestions that may be helpful with the connectivity issue:
1. Make sure your home Wi-Fi is working.
2. Check the status of the Nest service.
3. Check that you have the latest version of the Home app.
4. Restart your Nest Thermostat.
5. Restart your router.
6. Check for interference.
7. Reset your thermostat's connection.
