Easy to install, less then 10 mins and was able to sit back and control the heat/ ac from my phone while watching tv . Great product .

Until now, is working good. The installation process can be a little bit complicated according the answers you make while the app ask, but if you recognize the wires and conectors it will be ok. After installed you can see and set temperature programs for confort, energy saving and sleep on Google Home app (required). It controls both cooling and heating settings.

Finally, something cheaper and sleeker. If you're not concerned with auto temp adjusting from the Gen3, this is the thermostat for you. Looks great, don't even notice the plastic casing vs. the metal on the Gen3. The mirror face provides a cool look to the room. Definitely prefer the side touch navigation over the twisting, turning and pushing on the Gen3. Well worth the price point, especially if you have multiple thermos in the house. Only gripe is you can't use it on your Nest app. So, CO2/Smoke on the nest and thermos on the Google Home - but I'll survive.

This is a wonderful product. It is a smart thermostat, so much so that it has an independent brain that takes a bit of training for it to learn what is "comfortable" for me. After a few weeks of training, it is complying more. Yet, I need to check on it regularly to correct it when it appears to go rogue.

Love having this thermostat compared to our previous old one. It connects to my phone and is easy to use. I like being able to easily see the temperature.

Love the Nest products. However, skip this one and buy the better higher end product. I do not like the side controller. Not very intuitive. Also, cannot connect remote sensor.

It honestly makes any house look so much better with this on the wall, it's so cool to use but the downside to the whole thing is that if your house is from the 90's or below, most likely you're going to need to buy a C-wire for your thermostat or else it won't work the way it should. Other than the downside of the need of an C-wire, getting used to the controls is a bit weird but you get used to it, so it's not a big deal on how the controls are.

Great product, unfortunatly I have a combo R/C and so sometimes it disconnects and claims i need the power adapter which is annoying but other than that I love it!

The device works fine. The information says that it will work without a "C" wire which is good because I don't have one but it warns you that it might have future problems once you get it installed. Certain features aren't activated without having a "C" wire such as sensing your nearness and turning on the display. The installation went fine and I'm pleased. I was also able to apply for a $50 rebate from my gas company and have it approved.

Works well even away from the house, seems to activate the furnace or air almost immediately. Might be off a degree or two saying it’s 70 when it’s closer to 68. But I think it’s programmed to try and be energy efficient. Which Doesn’t bother me at all honestly, I’m surprised I have had zero issues with this thermostat. Google home app works great, I guess Technology is finally making real advancements in smart devices. what a wonderful time we live in, now if we could just get everyone on the same page humanity might have a fighting Chance.

Love this thermostat! I can change or check the temperature from my phone at a different location and it shows my battery level and how much usage my home uses for heat or air.

I like how im able to control it from my phone or use alexa

The Nest thermostat works as expected. Very well made and it looks even better in person. The setup was easy and everything was done through the app with guides to help you with the installation. This is the thermostat to get.

I love the way it works and looks The only issue I have is that it tries to be too smart and set a learned schedule for me. I come back and the ac is turned down. And sometimes it’s good and sometimes in wonder who is operating it. I keep asking my wife is she’s messing with it. I’ve tried to turn it off but it sometimes has a mind of its own

This unit was not user friendly with setting up or working with our Internet. Kept it for two years and replaced it with a different nest recommended by our ac contractor.

Works well and easy setup. Been a month of using it and good for a smart and cheaper thermostat that you just wifi connectivity and easy operation. One thing i noticed is that the thermostat would not start heating immediately when there is a drop in temp below theresold.. still learning its behavior

So far I haven’t had any issue with it . I purchased it before the summer months to try out. It’s great, you can adjust schedules for it. And have multiple people on the app. I installed it myself. Just make sure to shut off power to install. So far it’s been great.p

Nice to be able to control my thermostat from anywhere. Make sure you do not go with the pre made schedule they set for you in the setup process or it will change the temperature on its own.

Works well, nice to be able to set it to any temperature when your not home.

can sign up for the Nest Leaf program, which will essentially auto-correct your thermostat if you want during peak or non-peak times. We've noticed it drops the temp during the nights, but that doesn't seem to bother us as much as it gets back up to temp in the mornings as we wake. We also got a $100 rebate for this from Ameren upon filling out a rebate with them, so it's essentially paid for.
