Sadly I ended up having to return it due to my house being so old and needed t be rewired. But I got one for my mom and she loves it. I love how it's so small and blends into the wall and looks like a cool space age piece. I love that now my mom is able to control the temperature of her house on her phone and I feel that Google Nest is so user friendly to set up and she's able to figure it out on her own.

Love the look and it was easy to set up on my own watching a YouTube instruction video. It was very handy using it from the app especially since it was a cold morning..putting the heater on without getting out of bed was so nice

This is a great thermostat especially for the price. It works great and I love that it automatically adjusts when you are away from home. The only improvement I would like would be to make the ‘slider’ on the side of the thermostat a little easier to use when adjusting the temp but overall it works great and is easy to use and program.

I am very happy with this thermostat. Easy to install and easy to use. I especially like being able to adjust it remotely. If I am going to be away for a few hours I turn the temp up or down, and then I turn it up or down 20 minutes before returning.

I have previously owned the Learning Thermostat, but didn't really use any of the learning features so thought I would check this one out. The control on the side takes a minute to get used to if you have used the dial kind before, but it's actually very nice to not have to touch the screen. Setup was easy through the Home app. The mirrored screen is pretty and the unit is small.

If this thermostat works with your system, I highly recommend this over the nest learning thermostat. Straight forward installation. Good had really crated a good ecosystem within the goggle home app. The features this thermostat has is amazing. It's great having the ability to adjust the temp when we're out of town. We never come back to a hot or cold house.

This thermostat is fantastic and has helped us save on our crazy high summer energy bills. We have it programmed to turn off whenever we leave the house so we're not wasting electricity cooling an empty home in the dead of Texas summer, and it kicks back on automatically when it detects we're home. They're also quite sleek in appearance.

I used this thermostat to upgrade my apartment regular thermostat. This made my life easy. Now I can set up the temperature when I am away from home. I can also program my temperature according to my availability at home. The operation is not easy in the beginning. With the manual , which is written elaborately to explain all the steps. This is very energy efficient thermostat makes the heating and cooling job efficient in any home.

We enjoy using this device. It is very convenient and makes it easy to handle the house temperature from anywhere in the house. We even bought a second one for the next floor.

I had the more expensive Nest thermostats, then lightning shorted them out. These look good and the Google App connects faster than the old Nest App. But if you want to touch control them, it's harder. They don't have a ring that turns like the older ones, so it takes finesse to touch the side just right.

This was a bit hectic to set up. Essentially, the app setup needs to be completed in one setting, and the thermostat doesn't quite work correctly unless the setup is done a certain way. E.g. not knowing what your furnace/ac powrr source is and skipping by that page will cause your thermostat to not function correctly

Love the programmable features but if you get the white one it could get dirty if you touch with dirty hands.

For what I was able to get it to work, it was great, but it ultimately was not fully compatible with my home, and I ended up replacing it with the higher model.

I am concerned... it did what I expected it to do and was very pleased. However, I had a wifi outage and this actually caused the thermostat to power down. It should not do this. Best Buy Total Tech ( I am a member) repeatedly said it is normal. Then it powers down when I adjust my humidistat. Nest says it us likely defective or wired wrong. Total Tech says it is operating normally. I will continue to pursue this. I think the thermostat could be great if this gets resolved.

Very pleased.I’m a retired senior and my thermostat is located on first floor of my home so I’m careful going up and down stairs- Bei g able to program heat is truly the best. Great customer service as well.

Not as nice as original Nest branded Thermostat-E. Picture shows a white face, but it is actually a black/mirrored face. Does NOT, AND I REPEAT NOT, blend in with white wall. Outer ring is white, or whatever color option you choose. Additionally, now that these are "Google Nest" branded thermostats, you MUST use the google assistant app to set up and control these. I Replaced an original Nest (pre-google/nest) unit and the original Nest thermostat app was MUCH nicer and intuitive to use. In addition, the old Nest used a flat lithium battery and had a micro-usb port to charge it in an emergency. The new google-nest unit uses rechargeable AA batteries and has no charging port for them. FYI, the wifi transmitter in my original nest thermostat failed after about 4 years, which is why I bought this one.

The quality is good but i thought display will be round like in watches but it's a square display. Overall the functionality is very good and able to control without c wire in most cases. So try to see how good u can control them from mobile

I got this as mine thermostat is controlled by evergy and they are shutting it off and on so much my ac unit outside burns up contactors, this will allow me to monitor my temp when not home and if trouble occurs know i meed to get home to fix it ... in mean time try and figure out how to unwire there control box near my furnace

I have 2 of these. They are extremely easy to install, set up and operate. I love the touchscreen, look and feel. The app on the phone is fine. Easy to get to, change and operate. Well worth the price, but I am not "super fancy". I like functional over fancy.
