Excellent thermostat I like that I can just tell Alexa to turn up or down the temperature

It’s easy to use but a little too intuitive. I have to honestly study it some more but it’s a lot more user friendly than your average thermostats

I am very satisfied with this smart thermostat. There are newer models out, but this is a good deal for the price when it is on sale. Check the features list vs newer models, this may bee all you need. I use it for scheduled temperature control based on time of day and day of the week. (This model does not have the learning feature, which is fine) It has helped reduce my power usage. Do pay attention to setup instructions and take note if you are using a heat pump, the setup is slightly different.

I was used to my other digital thermostat however for the price this is amazing. Works excellent and is simple to use. I would recommend it to other since it’s convenient

Ever since google purchased Nest I have had nothing but problems with my thermostats. The nest thermostats burned out the PC board on my high efficiency furnace. It set me back $1200.00. I had to go back to a basic Honeywell non WiFi manual programable set of thermostats. My HVAC guy suggested I do this to prevent further damage to the new PC board. Apparently the thermostats draw continuous power from Furnace controller and eventually fry the board. Veissmann furnaces will void your factory warranty if they find out that you have Nest thermostats. It says it clearly on their service bulletin. If you value your HVAC system, steer clear of the Nest Thermostats.

I’ve been using the Google Nest Smart Thermostat in Snow for a few weeks now, and I really like it. The setup was a breeze, and I love being able to control the temperature from anywhere with my phone. The Snow color looks sleek and modern in my home, and the energy-saving features have already lowered my utility bills. Overall, I’m really impressed with this thermostat.

Very good product easy to setup and integrate into our smart home

It's been installed only a few weeks, seems to do exactly what we hoped. I set the parameters for heat and a/c and, due to the weather we've had, both have actually come on as they should. I have not used my phone to adjust the settings, which is the main reason I bought this.

This thermostat is incredible! Recently bought our first home and it was a major upgrade in square footage. For just two of us at the moment we found we were wasting energy heating/cooling our second floor when we spend most of our time on the first floor. This system allowed us to control both hvac systems separately from our phones and google nest displays. Love how much more simple and user friendly this is compared to the previous system. Note that our home is 22yrs old and we had to purchase the extra power connectors which was super easy, affordable and well worth it!!

After initially getting a cheaper brand that turned out to be a complete nightmare to set up and was nowhere near as intuitive, I brought back the other brand and bought two of these Nest Thermostats (one for upstairs one down). The Nest was really easy to set up and does support no C wire without having to rig anything in your furnace panel wiring. One it was connected to WIFI it set up in a matter of minutes with no issues. It did take a little learning to figure best way to set up for how you best want the thermostat to work during certain times of the day but think I have that sorted and while on vacation I am able to adjust themp up on my phone while turning down prior to our return. Does what it says at a great price.

I highly recommend. I purchase this since 2023 and to date I have no issues. The app works great and you have total control.

We had the Nest Learning thermostat before. It always did odd things. Switched to this one and it's been great! Easy to read, easy to use, and the app is pretty easy too (Google Home app). Hooking it up was straight-forward and simple. The setup wasn't too bad, but it complained about the "C" wire. I reseated it and still had issues. I looked it up and saw that many people had to reset it to get it to work. Reset to factory settings, completed setup again, and it worked!

I am really glad I made the upgrade from my ancient thermostat to this Nest Smart Thermostat. I had been running the heater more than normal during this especially cold winter. After a couple of rather high electric bills, I figured a new thermostat would likely run more efficiently and, hopefully, help lower my usage and bills. I am not sure of the effect on my bills yet. But the AC certainly seems to be running more efficiently. I also love having the ability to control the settings while away from home. I have lowered the temp while away after having forgotten to do so before leaving. That's not only efficient but a cool bit of tech. Even if it does not greatly reduce my overall usage and costs, it is a great upgrade for all that it does provide.
