Although it was missing the screws, still a good product has been working well with no problem. The wifi set up was a little annoying but once I got passed that it was easy.

This is exactly what we wanted, love the color and how easy it’s to use.

The thermostat does what is advertised - but it is not as simple to understand A/C unit compatibility as I had hoped. We have an old (1970's?) all-in-one packaged HVAC in an apartment, and the Nest sometimes doesn't have control of the unit fan. So even if the cooling or heating are off, the circulating fan stays on - I can't tell if this is caused by incompatibility or just my old A/C unit. Ultimately I like being able to use Google Home to control the thermostat wirelessly. The touch controls are average.

The Nest seems to be working fine, though I haven't tested its "extras", eg programming it to change temperatures. Since our boiler tends to cause problems, I wanted a thermostat that would allow me to see problems when I'm out of town during the winter months. This will allow me to have the breakdowns fixed before the house (pipes) freeze. I like being able to check and change the temperature from my iPhone. I haven't a need for it to "learn" my heating habits. I'll eventually program it to adjust the temp several times per day, but I only desire set times and changes.

I didn't realize it from the photos online, but the face of this Nest thermostat is actually a mirror. This is really cool because it means that it reflects the wall color on the opposite wall, making it blend with any decor. We had the more expensive one of these in our last house, but I like this one better. The "learning" function on the more expensive one was glitchy, causing it to turn off the AC sometimes when it was really hot and then it took a while to finally cool off (we lived in South Florida). This one is simple and easy.

This is a very nice looking thermostat. The way it works is a little different than the prior nest thermostat I had but it was easy enough to figure out. It was super easy to install.

Great thermostat. It is easy to use and has a sleek design. The temperature control is accurate and consistent, ensuring a comfortable environment at all times. Additionally, the thermostat has smart features that allow for remote control and scheduling, adding convenience to my daily routine. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this thermostat and would highly recommend it to others.

When technology gets in its own way. Touchscreen is great, except when it doesn’t work. Got this to replace my Ecobee. Sleek design, quality feels great to the touch, simple installation.

I replaced my old Honeywell with the google thermostat. Nothing was wrong with the old unit but I like how small the google one was and how you can check an app to see if you remembered to turn it off when youre not home. I was able to install it without the C (blue) wire. Everything works fine. The trim plate looks disgustingly like an afterthought in the design. Much cleaner without the trim plate.

I love these. I have had both models. This is a simple smart programmable one where the other more expsensive one is a learning one. For the new house, this worked just fine. Looks sleek and nice against my white wall and it was easy to hook up to a dual zone, heat pump forced air furnace. No issues with it. The only buggy thing I have noticed is the App temp reading toggles back and forth when you try to set a temp. You have to tell it a few times for it to take. I think that's just a communication issue between the app and the thermostat though. Really, it's a minor issue and will probably be fixed with an update. Overall happy with it!

works well. went from a regular thermostat to a smart one on a rental property and seems to work well.

Purchased this for my 85 old year mother with dementia. Wanted a Thermostat that I could control to ensure that my mother is comfortable and not look so confusing to her. This Thermostat is set to show my mother the Heat or Cool that it is set at and what the current Indoor temperature is. It is also motion sensored as you walk by the Thermostat for viewing so sometimes my mother doesn't even notice it because when you walk by the Thermostat, it can just look like a plain Circle Disc on the Wall. When you stop to look at it, then you can see the information on the Thermostat. Love it. Works great. Now, I know my mother will be comfortable in regards to temperature.

Almost so easy we could not believe it. Allows me to control different times of day and adjust from my smartphone! Great product!

The Nest was easy to install. Setting it up via Google Home was quick. Works very well. My only complaint is with the "eco mode". My thermostat is in a formal dining room that doesn't get a lot of traffic. Consequently, the thermostat doesn't sense anyone home, so it goes into "eco mode" to save energy. By the time you realize eco mode is on, the house temperature has changed several degrees. Deactivating that mode on the Nest E is not nearly as easy as deactivating it on the more expensive Nest Learning Thermostat.

Love our new thermostats. We can program to lower the temperature while on the road. Only thing, I would like to be able to see the current temperature all the time rather than having to move in front of the thermostat for the temperature to show. It’s probably an energy saving measure and maybe I will eventually get used to it! Purchased 5 thermostats and received $250 TOTAL rebate from our Electric Cooperative for purchasing energy saving thermostats!! GOOD VALUE!

Nest Vs Ecobee …. Nest is the clear winner! I would say anyone who has used both would agree.. my power bill went way up when cause I switched to ecobee lite3 with 2 sensors.. even ecobee’s customer support said most customers that switch from Nest to ecobee are disappointed.. it’s nice having a Nest again &?knowing the AC changes to away within seconds of leaving the house and back to home the second I pull up.. The Ecobee would never switch, apparently it takes 2 hours of no motion detected for it to change if its not scheduled too, 2 hours is a long time.. Anyway if your reading this and debating between Nest & Ecobee get the Nest..

It works nice, a little difficult to program, but the thermostat was easy to install following their instructions, but needed to understand your ac/heater wiring, additional this unit once loaded on my phone app for nest has to be reinstalled each time I want to use the app.
