Was debating for months whether or not I needed this. I do have the Google smartspeakers in my home. But I figured "what the heck?" Worst case is if I don't need it, then I can return it. Well, I've been using it for over 6-Months now, and now that I've had it, I can't live without it. The joy of just calling out to my speakers and telling Google to change my room temperature is a boost to quality of life. Especially for someone like me that has an apartment that changes dramatically in temperature over 1 degree. I highly recommend this to everyone.

I find great utility in utilizing this thermostat. Given my frequent work-related travels, the convenience of easily activating the away mode ensures energy efficiency during my absence. Upon returning, the ability to promptly adjust the temperature allows me to come home to a comfortable and welcoming environment.

I use my Nest smart thermostat to help control the prices of my Georgia Power bill.

While buying open box it's mentioned excellent condition, but No Battery, No manual. And cost also reduced after my purchase the same open box excellent condition, one more New also reduced price with trim kit included. comparatively new is best.

Easy to install and it works great. I have the app on the phone and get to see energy usage and can adjust temps from anywhere.

Until now, is working good. The installation process can be a little bit complicated according the answers you make while the app ask, but if you recognize the wires and conectors it will be ok. After installed you can see and set temperature programs for confort, energy saving and sleep on Google Home app (required). It controls both cooling and heating settings.

Love our new thermostat! Very easy to use and the best part is the control away from home just in case we forgot to turn off the heat or lower the temp when we are en route home. Very user friendly! Also loved the plate as an add on to cover the previous mismatched paint. Most brands don't offer that.

Finally, something cheaper and sleeker. If you're not concerned with auto temp adjusting from the Gen3, this is the thermostat for you. Looks great, don't even notice the plastic casing vs. the metal on the Gen3. The mirror face provides a cool look to the room. Definitely prefer the side touch navigation over the twisting, turning and pushing on the Gen3. Well worth the price point, especially if you have multiple thermos in the house. Only gripe is you can't use it on your Nest app. So, CO2/Smoke on the nest and thermos on the Google Home - but I'll survive.

It honestly makes any house look so much better with this on the wall, it's so cool to use but the downside to the whole thing is that if your house is from the 90's or below, most likely you're going to need to buy a C-wire for your thermostat or else it won't work the way it should. Other than the downside of the need of an C-wire, getting used to the controls is a bit weird but you get used to it, so it's not a big deal on how the controls are.

Very happy with this purchase. Easy to install and setup. App works well with our other google products too. Replaced our older wifi Honeywell with this about 2 months ago and have not been disappointed.

The device works fine. The information says that it will work without a "C" wire which is good because I don't have one but it warns you that it might have future problems once you get it installed. Certain features aren't activated without having a "C" wire such as sensing your nearness and turning on the display. The installation went fine and I'm pleased. I was also able to apply for a $50 rebate from my gas company and have it approved.

Easy to setup and already seen savings on the bill.
