Eco function makes it turn itself up higher than we want. We've struggled to control it properly through the app. I can't recommend it yet, until I can figure it out for myself. Debating if I should have purchased the more expensive option.

Your Nest Thermostat may have a preset schedule that causes the temperature to change. We'd love to help you out with your issue the best way possible. You can add or remove the schedule here:
- Open the Google Home App.
- Tap settings > schedule > tap the preset temperature > remove.

Aside from using the touch bar on the side, you can also control and manage the thermostat settings using the app even when you’re not at home as long as your thermostat and Home app (phone or tablet) are both online.
