Of course it is 7 days passed its warranty so google says i have to buy another one to fix the issue. After searching the internet found out this is a known issue and that one of the latest patches bricked some of them. Would only buy again if know issues are fixed and google steps up for breaking there own product.

The app would not let me use my linked Google and personal email so I had to create a third Gmail account. Warning this version does not work with the separate sensors which was one in f the reasons we liked the Nest.

Horrible setup, took me over an hour, no instructions (had to go online to find), messed up menus are confusing, forces customer to use tracking apps, and the scheduling flexibility is gone (used to be able to pick on/off times and temps anytime on any day. Now you get sleep or two others which don’t match everyone’s life patterns. I’ve yet to figure out the ad-how control which was one push on the original Nest devices. Horrible user controls. Don’t waste money on this unless you like frustration and don’t mind being less than satisfied. So so disappointed
