Had to hire a furnace tech to install the connector. Not a diy job.

Which is pretty annoying.

I replaced my smart fill treat thermostat with the nest and everything runs smoother. Programming is easier with Google home. Motion detection and learning is a great feature. I only wish it would sync with Alexa.

Need additional power adapter to get full functions

I really like being able to control the unit with my phone. Setting up schedules of when it is on or off or reducing temperature when we are not home is very nice.

The Nest Thermostat works with most 24V heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and heat pumps with either forced air or radiant delivery. Love the mirror look and it’s simple to use and setup. I wish the app was its own separate app and not part of google home, but isn’t a big deal.

Thermostat can be controlled through the Google home app as well as manually. My nephew has owned Nest thermostats for years and finally convinced me to get one. I’m glad I did.

We feel better knowing how our heat and AC are performing when we are not home.
