Nest customer service is really bad. I tried chat and kept getting disconnected. I tried phone and I got someone who has a heavy accent and insists on taking me thru the steps I already did. I bought 2 of them, one of them installed correctly and the other just does not want to install. I wanted to do a exchange under warranty, but kept getting the run around. Device only 2 month old

Better than expected!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We've been using the Nest E Thermostat for about a week now and it's fantastic. We've been moving a lot of things in the house and being upstairs working it gets home warm so being able to turn the temperature down without going downstairs is awesome. AND not having to get out of bed on a chilly night to turn it up is equally awesome. Installation couldn't have been easier. I would suggest taking the unit out of the box and getting acquainted with it before trying to install. THEN make sure to check out the wiring compatibility feature on the NEST website. It give you everything you need to install.

It works well for 2 months until it dies again, unable to connect to wi-fi, google has replaced already 2 units. after 2 months they fail to connect. Go thru the whole setup again so your nest loses all your "learning". Calling back again today to get my replacement. I wish I just could return it. !!!
