Your gas bill will be close to $500 a month. This product is garbage and no refunds. I will have to go back to my old Honeywell.

Battery Won't Stay Charged

A good suggestion is purchasing an ecobee designed to work with hvac systems that do not have a C wire. You are Welcome!

Doesn't Work - Replaced Twice - No A/C

Installation was extremely easy and the setup was the same. The unit came with an optional wall backing plate which I used as the old thermostat was larger than the round Nest so the plate covered the old mounting screw holes etc. The unit and the wall plate look really classy. Would highly recommend this thermostat.
I would recommend this to a friend It was easy to install, but I’m not happy with it.

Nest Thermostat E learns from your temperature preferences, and then creates its own schedules which may conflict with your set schedules as well as desired temperature at a given time. You can turn off the Auto-Schedule feature to stop your thermostat from creating schedules and clear the already created schedules to prevent the thermostat from kicking in on those schedules by following the steps below:
Turn off Auto-Schedule learning using your Nest App:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Settings Nest settings icon then Auto-Schedule.
- Tap the switch to turn it off.
Clear your existing schedule using your Nest Learning Thermostat:
- On your thermostat, select Settings, then Reset and then Schedule.
- Depending on which Nest thermostat you have, select either Reset or Clear.

There is no temperature swing setting

The factory set temperature swing is too large for my home, 1ºF (0.5ºC). Can't believe the company doesn't add the feature the product.

This thermostat blew my HVAC

Nest is appealing to the user and blends in well with walls. It lights up when you walk by. I love it. Nest makes a wonderful product. I love it better than a standard programmable thermostat.

The convenience of turning up the heat from your bed is cool, the wow factor of it doing it for you once it learns your habits is amazing. Best Nest Thermostat Yet!

It's more affordable, more visually pleasing (blends in more), and contains almost all of the same functions of the more costly models. The only thing it sacrifices is a high-definition screen and the ability to show you the date and time when you pass the thermostat (it still wakes and shows you the temperature). Highly recommended.
