If your system has separate heating and cooling, most likely it will not work and have to get the regular Nest Thermostat. I have baseboard heating and a/c for cooling. I had to return this and get a regular higher priced Nest.

it is a pretty good thermostat. 1. easy to install. 2. good design in the dialing gear temperature adjust wheel. hope it will last for long time.

Replaced an old standard digital thermostat that wouldn't turn on every time with this one. I appreciate that I can run this from my phone in the middle of the night without getting up and walking across the house. It also integrates with the Google Home app. Definitely check with the nest/Google site for compatibility with your wiring setup before purchasing.

If you have micromanagement problems, you probably already have a thermostat like this. If you're that and thrifty, this is the one for you!

Great improvement from the ancient programmable thermostat I used to have. Easy to setup with step-by-step instructions on the device and comes with everything you need for an easy install. I would add an additional temperature sensor if you have multiple floors. Don’t forget to check on energy rebates, with the deal I got on this last year bundled with the google hub I paid $50 for both.

The thermostat in my man cave over the garage installed behind the door. So if I'm in the room with the door open, it reads about 5 degrees hotter. Dumbest design ever. Gotnthe Nsst thermostat with the temperature sensor. I can place the sensor somewhere else in the room and it keeps the air from constantly running. Solved a problem we had for a long time. So helpful.

Love the idea and for a better price but it didn't work with my unit. Returned and bought the more expensive one and I'm still satisfied

Great when you realize that you forgot to turn the heat off when you're away on vacation, also nice to come home to a warm house.... you can turn the heat on when you're 1/2 hour out!
