This is an excellent upgrade to a basic thermostat and a great addition to a full-blown Nest thermostat. We have a Nest 2nd gen downstairs (zone 1) and a Nest E upstairs (zone 2). I had to install a new furnace controller that was compatible with the new wifi thermostats but what was quite simple as when my home was built, the HVAC guys left the full bundle of wires for the thermostats. Huge Plus! It was as simple as matching up the wires and following the prompts on the Nest E. Now I can keep an eye on temperature and humidity in my home while I am away and make sure the pets are comfortable. You basically set it up and forget about. As you change the temperature to you match you comfort level, the thermostat learns what you like and when you are around. Before you know it, there is a custom schedule for you and your home.

Bought this to replace some construction grade thermostat and it was the best choice ever. Extremely easy to install and program. Integration with my Google Home mini makes controlling the temperature very convenient too!

I absolutely love my thermostat. I love that I can adjust the temperature from anywhere, even at work. I have saved so much money since I installed it. It was easy to install. And directions were simple. I would deathly recommend

Very easy to install. It replaced an old non-programmable digital thermostat that was extremely old. The directions were very easy to follow, even the wiring. I would definitely recommend this thermostat.

I have two of these- one at home and one at our vacation home- love the eco function and to control the temperature for both homes in one app. I also love the efficiency in my energy bills. I would highly recommend this product!

I owned a Nest 2nd Gen, bought the E nest for my upstairs. It is just as good and at an affordable price. Very easy to install. Highly recommend the product and I'm sure it will pay for itself in 1-2 years.

Got rid of the bulky box thermostat, this was rebates thru the state so saved good $$$. Really easy to set up. Plus it links to alexa/ google so you can check temps of other rooms from otherside of the house

I love this system! Setup is easy. The unit itself is intuitive and learns your habits saving you money! Also the app is well done and easy to remotely control the unit. Living in Chicago it gets cold it's so nice to come home to a warm apt.

Love this product. Easy to install and works seamlessly with your phone through wifi. Energy bills will go down as you turn it down when away from home then warm up your house right before you arrive.

I was going to spend the money to get the Nest Thermostat until I saw this version and I love it. While it may not have the same finish as the more expensive version, it does exactly what it is supposed to do as a smart thermostat.

This makes controlling the thermostat so much easier especially with a house full of people. The easiness of operating it right from our phone makes things so much easier so that the AC does it run while we’re not home.

East to adjust the temperature while away. Also monitors temperature as well to ensure everything is working properly for pets. Lots of great features and integrates perfectly with Google/Nest system.

What I like about this version of the Nest is that the technology does not get in the way. It is easy to use, doesn't have too many features that overwhelm you but let's you take advantage of the convenient featues. Had a pro install.

Definitely more sensitive and accurate than your typical thermostat. The best feature in my opinion is the ability to adjust the temperature from bed... no more running downstairs to turn down the temp on those hot summer nights.

my apartment thermostat broke and would get stuck at super low temps, then freeze my a/c bringing my home to over 80 degrees- so we got this while on a deal. I live in Texas so summer bills can be hefty, but getting this cut a huge chunk out of that, I'm talking a $70 difference from whatever the broken thermostat put me through. Also, it works very well on my phone, with alexa, and with google home. I can kick the temp up a couple degrees just by asking before i get out of my warm covers, then to eco mode as i walk out the door. if the weather gets extreme while im gone for the day, i can change it easily in the app for my dogs. Super convenient

Nest thermostat comes with step by step installation instructions mobile app which makes the switch from a conventional thermostat an easy task. Nest also has simple functions making operation very easy and user friendly.
