It's so nice to have a programmable thermostat and while there are many out there to chose from, the Nest has been fulfilling our needs. We've had it for about 2 months and we've had no issues!

The best thermostat is relatively simple to install, easy to program with the app, and has helped to reduce the power bill enough that it’s already paid for itself.

I love the convenience of being able to adjust the temperature with my phone or through the echo Dot. The only confusing thing is trying to distinguish between the Eco setting and your actual schedule, in terms of regulating the temperature while you're away from home.

This thermostat is a true money saver! You can control the temperature from your phone from anywhere, and it learns your coming/arriving home patterns and adjusts the temps automatically.

SETUP: for those "do it yourselfers" instructions are clear. If not there is plenty of information online to help you through. FUNCTIONALITY: if you can operate a tablet or smartphone you can easily navigate the the thermostat settings.

Originally purchased this over the more expensive 3rd generation, but this was not compatible with my thermostat. Nest has an online tool to determine compatibility, which i recommend taking a look at before purchasing. Have no doubts it would have worked well had it been compatible.

Look this thermostat! After only a few days it learned our heat preferences. It's hooked to my phone so I can control it without getting up if it should get warmer or cooler during the night.

This smart thermostat fit the bill for me. I didn't need a nice display. I just wanted a good smart thermostat without the big price. This worked great for me!

Control your heat and AC from your phone. Warm your house before you come home or cool it down. Great if u travel a lot so that you can save energy while away but return to a temp that you like. Not an easy install with older systems. Needed an electrician.

I purchased these devices to replace my existing thermostats for several reasons. I wanted the ability to monitor the condition of the house while we are away, I wanted remote temp sensing ability away from the thermostat and I wanted the utility rebates. Installation was easy, took a picture of the existing wiring of the old thermostat, worked out which wire went to which connector, installed the wiring plate, and the device. Used the mobile app to bring the device into the house system, and I was done. Thus far, we have been able to run the home at the comfort level we want, and with the utility rebates, the overall price will come in cheaper.

We already had the regular Nest Thermostat in our old house. When we moved we took it and bought a house with 4 thermostats. Added 3 of these to the baffled A/C system and they work great.

I had the original Nest for 4 years. It’s still going strong. Need another one for second A/C. This model is every bit as good as original for nearly $100 less. Very happy.

I have to admit that I am not using this product to its best potential. I don’t even have it connected to an app. It is in my retail store. I love that it shuts off when it doesn’t sense movement. It works well for ghat purpose. Yes

Have had this for awhile now. A few bugs when setting up, but easily fixed. Works great now and saving money on power bill. Love that I can set it with my phone from anywhere.

I love being able to adjust the temp remotely. The auto schedule (learning) doesn't always set the temp the way I would like, but still a great little device and was easy to install.

No need to buy the more expensive Nest. This one does it all! Easy installation. Does a great job "learning" your patterns. I added the remote sensors and all in all it's perfect!
