I own the Nest thermostat and need to purchase another smart thermostat, but did not want to spend the money as I did on my first purchase. The E Nest does much of the things I need from a thermostat. There are only two things they need. 1. The E Nest does not indicate when the AC is on as the Nest. 2. Both Nest should calculate the difference between external and internal temperature to give you idea temperature from your selection. Instead you have to reset your history setting. Able to use set your temperature from you phone is a frequent use. Turning your AC off when you go on vacation can be valuable.

Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Easy set up and easier to monitor from my phone. Love it!!!

Great alternative to the more expensive nest. Doesn’t look as great but works just as well

Lots of good features like controlling temp remotely, and the fact that it can adjust temp when it knows you are home, or away from home for that matter. However It's kinda a pain to set it up and make the temperature stay where you want it to. Be careful not to set it to some exaggerated temperature when you first set it up or it will think that's your preference and then you have to fight to override it all the time. Easier to program it the way you want it from the beginning so it doesn't have to unlearn anything.

So I bought the nest 2 days ago and it was working perfectly fine the first 2 days, then comes the next day and it says theres not power to R wire. Well we check the breaker and reconnect everything and it takes a while and starts working again. Then, this issue happened about 4 times that day. Till I decided to call Nest and they said it might be an issue with the device. So I exchanged with another Nest and this time even worse the device doest even turn on. We re installed previous thermostat and everything is working fine and no issues. Definitely DONT recommend Nest as much as I would like to because of its nice design and modern aspect. NOT Worth it! Read these reviews before buying.

Thermostat was easy to install, program and sync to my phone and Alexa devices. It works like a dream and I love being able to increase the heat in the morning just by telling Alexa to do so. (It is programmed but sometimes my schedule changes). When I’m gone, I can check the thermostat setting on my phone and turn up the heat just before I get home. I love this thermostat so much I bought a second one for my rental.

Helps control my ac right from my google home - I can set it from just about anywhere. Great product.

I purchased this second thermostat for my upstairs furnace because I love my other downstairs. I have noticed a huge saving in my utility bills because now it is locked from kids messing with temperature constantly. I gave them a range of 4* to adjust and that’s it. Anything else needs my approval (on my phone)! I love that it’s intergrated with Alexa and connects to my alarm system as well. My house is smarter with nest!
