This makes my AC system even more efficient with these smart thermostats. The settings for the thermostat make this a very flexible smart device. Installed myself with no issues. Got a $150 rebate from my electric/gas service provider, so paid next to nothing after the rebates I got.

One function is both a positive and a negative- it has a emergency heat setting to turn heat on when temperature falls too low even if the unit is off but the downside is the maximum setting is 45 degrees which is useless to prevent frozen pipes. Don’t know why they limit the setting- hope they will address that issue soon.
