Saved some money!

This may not be Nest's issue but the location home/away does not seem to work as advertise with our Xperia Android phones. Home feature works on the spot with phone location but Away takes about an hour to register that we are not home. Not a deal breaker.

Not compatible w/ wall furnace.

This should have been made clear in the description or before I turned off the power, downloaded the install app, removed the old thermostat and started the wiring. Paper instructions and a compatibility note on the box would be appreciated.

A must buy

There is nothing better. I didn’t really like/maybe understand the smart learning. I like my ac to stay at a certain temp and it tried to make itself conserve energy. I had to continuously drop the temp manually throughout the day until I deleted the presets.

Does the job

While there are a few things that this unit does not have, they were not needed, The Nest E does an excellent job of handling the same basic functions as the Nest for a cheaper price, Actually like the look as well. Would recommend
