They only warranty ones bought from authorize dealers. Bought this from Best Buy with the extended warranty. Was an expensive lesson, but fell in love with it. This is the lesser expensive one due to I never used the learning feature on the other one.

It only took for my previous furnace to die and spent several thousand dollars so I can upgrade to this wonderful little thing. My only regret is that I should have gotten the Nest Learning Thermostat instead but you know what, this gets the job done!

Super easy and highly functional

Make sure you take a picture of your old wiring hookups before you disconnect them and follow the instructions or youtube video for hooking up the new one. If you mess it up, AC becomes Heat and vice versa. Programming and wireless control were very easy.
