Shocked by how much money I saved in the first month. I'm sure the weather change had something to do with it but my bill went down $70. My other thermostat, you had to manually adjust each change. This one you can set what you want and when. It also learns how you like it from adjustments. It will go into Eco mode when you leave, which you can set too. Definitely worth the money in a few months. It was easy to install. I clicked the wrong action when I installed my first one, I called the company and they walked me through how to fix it. I didn't have to wait long on the line to talk to someone even though they had just released a lot of new products that month.

I was really wanting the more expensive Nest Thermostat, but settled on this because most of the functionality is present. Beyond a small hiccup with the install due to a blown fuse I didn't know about it's been great. Nest support was helpful before the sale to confirm compatibility. Their online guides were spot on during install. Setup with Google home was EASY! I just have to see how the learning goes now.

Simple to install and operate. It learns but you can also program it to your liking. I wish the iPhone app was as good as logging into the account a computer but otherwise it’s great!!

Like the style of this thermostat. It fits our condo perfect. Simple to operate and being able to change temperature remotely is nice.

This thing is amazing. Has learning mode and now I don't need to touch. Automatically goes into eco mode when I'm not home and looks great. You won't regret this if you buy.

Love google smart thermostats, they link up to the rest of my Google smart products in the home app . A little cumbersome to install if you don't pay attention and don't take photos of your previous setup. But everything works great once you get passed the intial setup. Very impressed

Installation was simple, and using this has been great. Lower end model so you cannot use Siri to control this as it isn’t HomeKit compatible. Still able to use the app and control it over WiFi or cellular. The information it provides and the Away and Eco modes are great and saves me money every month as I’m always traveling and can forget to turn off the thermostat when I’m rushing out.

Easy to use. Looks modern on the wall. Easy to install.

NEST THERMOSTATE E WHITE - BEST PURCHASE EVER! I am so excited about my purchase. I debated between the white and stainless steel, overall my experience could not be any better. It was a quick install to my phone and I can control the temperature of my house from anywhere which has been great. It also lights up when you pass by it which is helpful at nights!

This thermostat is a perfect alternative to the normal Nest. It looks great and works exactly the same with a very pretty e-ink display. Honestly I prefer this one over the normal one as it's smaller and more sleek looking on a white wall. I would recommend this for anyone looking at a smart thermostat but do not want to spend the extra money for the normal Nest.

For some reason, normal thermostats are impossible for me to figure out. When I got the Nest all of my problems went away. I love the smart features and how easy it is to use. The app also gives me peace of mind and is convenient since I can change the temp from anywhere. The set-up was a little nerve wracking, but if you are tech/hardware savvy, you should be able to figure it out.

The nest is everything it is hyped to be. Love that it is linked to our phones and adjusts on occupancy. I also like that I can change the temp with my phone.

This is a pretty cool unit. I can all ready tell a difference. The furnace used to work really hard on cold day. Will recommend to family and friends.

I've hesitated to buy a smart thermostat for a while. I've always had my eye on the Nest, but I was holding out for something that is Apple HomeKit compatible. When the deal to get a free Google Home Mini with this came around, coupled with $100 and $50 rebates from my gas and power companies, I couldn't pass it up. I basically got the Nest E and a Google Home Mini for $19. What a steal. This thing really is great. It learns from you and sets temps accordingly. It has eco settings to save energy while no one is home, and tells you when you actually saved money from that feature. All that is missing is Apple HomeKit compatibility, and it would be 5/5. Its possible that they'll add that feature later on, and I really hope they do. I'm sure a lot of people would be happy as well.

Was moving the location of the thermostat so had to rewire. Once done easy to activate and use. I control it from my phone and avoid lots of stairs. Still working on some of the more advanced functions, but it's doing what I want now. Would prefer more choice in the color of the mounting plate. White stands out against a grey wall.

We moved into a new home and my wife wanted to place a large China hutch in front of the thermostat. So, we started looking at smart thermostats. Our needs were pretty simple: we needed to be able to adjust the thermostat from our phones. We researched options, and we were familiar with Nest, but had not had any experience with it. I'm in tech, so I was aware of Ecobee and others, as well. In the end, we settled on Nest because it was reasonably priced and offered the options we wanted. We also use Amazon's Echo, and it integrates with it. I like the geo-fencing feature that lowers the temperature when we are away. The app is user-friendly. I would recommend spending a little more to get the regular Nest though. The E is fine for us since it is hidden, but the display is a lot nicer on the regular Nest. Both function the same, but if I had to look at it regularly, I'd prefer the normal Nest. Also, the regular Nest is compatible with more HVAC systems. So, check your system and the Nest site, which will inform you if your system is compatible with the Nest E before purchasing. Install is simple. I was able to do this myself using the included instructions and a YouTube video.

Works amazing! Better price without all the extra features I don’t use. Super easy to install and def saving money on my energy bills. Love this!

Very easy to setup, tells you what is wrong and is easy to correct for issues. Has a 'feature' where it will continue to run the HVAC to prevent damaging the unit. This needs to be watched, since it may run for far to long.
