Istallation was easy, took about 10 minutes. Works with my Alexa and the estimated time when the set temperature will be reached is a helpful feature. The only downside is the scheduling option that takes time if do not to use the learning g mode.

I had one at my last house. We like the savings that we get with a WiFi thermostat. Like to true it down when we are away and bake up on the way home. It also use it with the smoke Decker.

I bought this for my skeptical parents and they are in love. This unit adjusts to your daily habits and makes you not even have to think about changing the air.

Newer smart thermostats are a bit pricey, but after owning some for a few years, definitely worth it if you have a sporadic schedule. My first nest is already paid for itself after a year.

We had two with our home alarm. Went to Best Buy to get another... Love the idea of having the google home to.. you can command the temperature you want without getting up.

The learning aspect of this thermostat brings your home climate control to a new level. Even having the ability to control and check the temperature away from home is pretty convenient.

The camara and door bell are awesome. I love being able to answer my door with out being home. The only down fall is I didn't know I was in trial mode until I got a ring at the door and my app kept telling me my trial was over now I have to pay to be able to use the futures

I love that I can go to the office in the morning and turn this off to save $ obviously, then turn it back on before I leave so when I arrive it’s nice and warm in my home. Must buy!

I honestly didn’t see the need for an expensive thermostat. But this Nest has paid for its self. And I love that I can monitor remoting especially when guests are at home when I’m usually at work.

This is a great product and the only reason I returned it was because someone sold me one for a little less. I have one in my home and it has saved me money over the last year I have had it.

The Nest works fine. Advantages include its ability to learn my heat/cooling times and temps. My heating/cooling bill after installation was an average savings of about $20/month so basically it pays for itself plus I also got a credit from the SCE/SCG. I would recommend this product.

Easy to install and sinc with app. Work well when away for long periods of time (vacations), goes into ECO mode (saving energy) and you can set it to desired temp you want on the away home.

All I can say is, JUST BUY IT! If you don't mind throwing money away then keep going. If your like me and do mind then buy it, buy this one or any other Nest thermostat. Worth every penny and has paid for itself in less than 1 year. Now all my savings go in my pocket...

Can't justify the extra price for the more expensive thermostat. this one does it all and I am very happy with it. It also looks better in my opinion

I like this Thermostat better than the smarter one because living in Los Angeles it’s basically unnecessary to have a device learn your patterns. It’s either on or off, no need to get fancy.

Decent thermostat. Basic features and visually unappealing. However, does the job. Alexa integration is very basic as well (increasing and lowering temp set point). Cannotchange from cooling to heating modes audibly.

Basically the set up process for these thermostats is incredibly well thought out. The issue is with wires slipping out of the base plate clamps if they’re normal heavy duty thermostat wire. A heavier base plate with stronger wire clamps would be a good design decision for the future.

Bought this over a year ago and have not had any issue, actually this thermostat has alerted me of AC or Heating issues letting me know that the unit shuts off prematurely and etc.

Value at price point, better than Learning version, but decide if the savings is worth the visual appearance. The frosted glass can create difficult read. Selected Nest because does not required C-wire, like other similar products.
